I played with most of the Spec X players, they are great.

Just to mention a few:

Biggs - great player, has fabulous banter
Disciple888 - didn't play with him for a while, I hear he's not using armored compartments anymore...
INVADERONE - great player, really fun to play with
Ashen Earth - just WOW, really good player, knows what he's doing
Stikman - didn't play with him for a long time,
... and every other Spec X player that I've played with.

Tivesz - he's not in Spec X, but a great player. Plus points for him for also being Hungarian. Amusing banter.

Killahead - he put away ME3 for a bit, but we ran many games lately. Played my first (and successful) platinum games with him and a few other BSNers.

I'm sure I could mention others.

Such a player would tackle objectives without second thought, cover the team, risk a medigel or two for the team, take out rockets, not give a darn about his/her score, N7 rating or challenge points and is smart in prioritizing targets.

Yet to see such a player and doubt there will be one.

In my opinion, i play with one friend, we communicate so well in game, we do not need to speak to each other, whatever class we choose and no matter which faction we face. We constantly play on Gold, even tackle targets with the same mind. I would not call my friend the "greatest" player ever, but he is def the only player i can rely on. I rely on him and he rely's on me, so well that we can both play gold against reapers with our eyes closed and get a full extraction.

Thinking about it, he is the best player, that i can think of, i never play co-op without him.

If you want someone, who knows his sht and does it right, call king of the apez. He does not camp, does not use OP set-ups, can use any class, wants to get the job done and does not care about score.

Are you on Xbox?  If so, look me up. I have a friends list with at least 5 or 6 players who play as you described above. Always very smooth games!

I think more than anything else thats the reason I've kept playing this game as long as I have, every game with Heroic is fun for these reasons.

Myself (if I am allowed to say myself) and ZeRabbiitt (both on Xbox 360) when we played together i had a tough time keeping my first place i only ever won by about 1 perhaps 2k points...fantastic player.

Not that anyone actually cares about my opinion of "great" as I'm a mediocre player at best, but...

Having had the experience of playing with L0ki outside of the platinum farming on Giant on more than one occasion, I stand by my answer - and it isn't just scoreboard that puts him "Greatest" for me, he's an awesome team player as well.

If the thread had asked for a list of great players, you(Surly Sue), Kwijybo, Ashen Earth, Caineghis and a few others would be my picks alongside him.  I'm frankly in awe of the skillz!
Look forward to the next time can get a lobby together - you can pick host and call the shots!

Wow, talk about throwing down a gauntlet!  We play that way because I'm constantly farming for people, ask any of the people who play with me and they will tell you that the Turian Ghost/Harrier combo isn't even my highest scoring character, just the most consistant and safest on Platinum. 

Tell you what, host a game sometime and send me and invite......you may want to make a few lashings of custard for the humble pie that I will be serving you shortly..........mortal.
