A team of some 6 unique fighters loosly based on Mass Effect combat classes team up to go on dangerous missions. The setting being the present day (so no omnitools, biotics and Mass Effect fields).

Here is a rundown of the 6 fighters.

Martha Schultz: The Adept:

The world's leading researcher in electromagnetism has constructed gauntlets that she uses to attract and repel magnet objects.

She can loosly immitate warp by launching a metal sphere at targets.
She can loosly immitate throw by repelling people carrying metal objects.
She can loosly immitate pull by attracting metal objects towards her (useful for dealing with gun wielding enemies).

Lance Richardson: The Vanguard:

Infameous sprinter Lance Richardson was once hailed as the worlds greatest athlete. That was until he was caught taking stereoids and recieved a permanent ban from all athletic events.

Lance's steroid abuse gives him super speed, strength and agility. In addition Lance is obsessed with martial arts and shotguns. The millitary eventually recognised his strengths and signed him on to a special tasks unit.

However due to the side effects of stereoids, he has anger management issues and had a variety of physical health problems. The greater his physical pain, the harder he fights.

Jade Carrington: The Engineer

Jade Carrington is what people call a "white hat hacker". As her day job she hacks the worlds most secure computer systems to find weaknesses and flaws that enemies can exploit. Now give this remarkable individual a smart phone, and all of a sudden she is unstoppable.

Mutale Ferreira: The Infiltrator:

Using state of the art camoflage technology Mutale is able to turn almost invisible. He appears as a transparent silhouette. As a trained sniper, Mutale prefers to strike from a distance, however he can be effective in close quarters combat too.

Jean-Perez  Garcia: The Soldier:

Jean-Perez is often described as a "one man army". He has helped foil 5 major terrorist plots in Brazil and is often called by the CIA to help out with tracking terrorists and dealing with gangs, mobs and mafias.

Jean-Perez has elite proficency in a vareity of fire arms, and is known for carrying 5-6 firearms at any given time. In addition the US Army's R&D department has developed the worlds most robust infantry armor. This combination makes Jean-Perez a beast!

Hoshinori Miyamoto: The Sentinel:

In the Mass Effect series, the sentinel has become associated with being a "Swiss Army knife".
Like the sentinel, Kiriko is an incredibly versatile woman.

Do you have any ideas of your own for adapting Mass Effect combat classes for present day.

You don't have to be 100% realistic, as long as your concepts are vaguely plausible given present day technology.

Mass Effect 2 had the Avengers vibe all over it.

I always viewed Shepard as the" Captain America" of the Mass Effect universe.

I even headcannon a backstory that is similar...in my sig.
