Man, that's pretty cool. Good on him.

You should teach him the ways of the Talon, Mega.

He's got the Bow down... but he has to L2cain mine spam.

Talon is kinda host dependant, and he can't really host. He usually plays when I host... we are in the same house but I'm hard-wired and he is on a wireless adapter.

Well, at least he's got the important part down.

Mine too... and I'm 33 lol.

I feel it's just that they weren't raised with them like we were. It's kind of amazing how pig-headed they can be about it. Just one more reason why Ryoldschool is super cool.

I tried to teach my dad and older brother the way of ME3 MP.

Long story short, they sucked with a full health and sheilds specked juggernaut with a harrier II on bronze:sick:

I've given up on them.

This might be the greatest achievement for any father ever. I wish I had a son to school in the ways of ME3 MP.

Congrats.

I don't know about greatest achievement ever... but it sure did make me beam with pride. I'll be most proud of him when he can stand on his own two feet, pay his own bills, support his own children, etc... you know... be a man.

Funny thing in the match: Stikman said he was gonna nuke a bunch of spawns on wave 11 to level up his character (wasn't level 20). Julian says, "Ohh... you're trying to beat my score huh?" and proceeds to nuke 5 spawns with his 5 remaining rockets... I loled.

Lol. It just got funnier.

I was being facetious about the greatest achievement thing btw.

It's odd that you mention that... he was Tech Armoring all the things with his Tsent most of the games we played. It showed up in the killfeed pretty regularly. He was using his new Harrier X...

Well then...he's ready. There's just so many things you can teach him ME3MP-wise.
Hatesurfing, Nova canceling, Javsteppin, Tech Armor all the things.

P.s: you're lucky I wasn't able to reply to your thread about that. There would have been flaaaaames!

You let your son play against Geth ?

Worst.

Dad.

Ever.

I didn't even try to get him started... he just watched me and wanted to play.

I remember back when I played Gears 1... the end fight with General Raam gave him nightmares lol... and his mom yelled at me.

Sounds just like me and my ol' man. I was maybe four or five years old, watching him play his Atari 2600. I was fascinated and wanted to play with him. He taught me how to live with a controller in my hand. Atari 2600, Intellivision, Super Nintendo... man, that was my after school thing was to come home and get the daddy-daughter unstoppable gaming duo going. When split-screen 2-player started going out the window (like a lot of the games we got for original Playstation), we'd tag-team it instead. One of my most vivid memories is the two of us playing through Metal Gear Solid... one would watch, the other would play. When he got stuck/befuddled, he'd hand me the controller because I could usually figure it out... then, I'd play until I got stuck/befuddled, and hand the controller back to him because he could usually figure it out. Went through the whole game like that. Awesome times.

Poor Mom was a bit jealous, though. She'd wanted a girly-girl to do girly stuff with. Dad had wanted a son and, while not disappointed when I was born, kinda had that whole slight let-down thing going. Until it turned out I was a tomboy... then he got a son anyway to play video games with, take to football games, take fishing, etc.! LMAO

So cool you get to share that with your son. And get to watch him beat up on your friends, too! LOL Treasure these times, man. You are making memories for him that he will look back on later and occasionally tear up over (manly tears, though... manly tears).

Could be worse.

At least he had good team-mates. Imagine how much worse it would have been with pugs.

On the contrary... we take him on our fishing/spearfishing trips. He's the "get seasick in the morning and puke your guts out... then is fine for the rest of the day" type. We are ocean people... it's in his blood. He went on 5-6 trips last year, and we took him out on a head boat during the summer while on vacation. He also fishes with my dad and I in the pond behind their house catching Bream/Catfish.

He got his own Matthews bow last year (and a deer target for his birthday last February). We cranked up the draw a few months ago and started practicing him at 20 and 30 yards. He's always talking about 'dead deer' lol... still gotta get his groupings tighter though.

He'll be a meat producer just like his old man... I'd be so stoked if he became a better spearfisherman than me (a feat maybe 5-6 people in all of Jacksonville can claim... seriously, yes I'm that good).
