Now that the N7 challenge is done, I'm thinking why bother (as if there really was a good reason to begin with)? Except maybe to respect a kit if I'm, out of the respec cards?

Not any more. Unless I drop out of the top 1% of PC players in N7, and my e-peen feels shrunken.

My N7 numba is stuck at 240, and I'll keep it that way.

I used to on XBox because when I first started my IRL friend and I would see who had the higher N7 rank because back then we would always get kicked from matches for having a low N7. I got to like 800 then stopped. I started promoting to do the challenge then I realised it was pointless so I stopped at 1320.
On PC I plan to never promote and stay at 120 unless I decide to do the challenge for BOTB which I will probably never do tbh

Rarely. I keep getting char cards for maxed classes and it feels like a waste, so I'll promote in order to savor the free xp. If my manifest were full I expect I would never be tempted.

Yep, because its motivation for me to start a new Character/Build from the beginning.

Agreed, not to mention the challenge to outscore lvl 20s with a low level charJaqueNorris wrote...

Only promoted to get the platinum trophy, weekend ops and when i ended up glitched on points when it first came out. Never seen the point for some stupid banner

Only to finish off the banners. come this far might as well keep going.
Also to access the 6/6/6/6/6 builds. Oh wait never mind moving right along.
PS: I don't really have any 6/6/6/6/6 builds, but troll store makes me feel like saying the hell with it at times.

I am kind of addicted to promoting. It feels like I waste experience every time I play a match using a level 20 character. I really try to surpress the urge to promote, and after having complete the N7 challenge it is much easier, but I kind of like leveling my characters up and try new builds.

partially this and I simply like to level them up all over again. I also understand, the inherit difficulty of starting even silvers at level 1.
I..dislike when I get a XP card for a class l have maxed out

Once the N7 challenge is completed by myself, I highly doubt I'll promote unless I really want to respec a class.

Nope... I am still at 210... I did it for that one operation... Well, I decided that I didn't like promoting... I am too lazy to start at level 1!

If I have two or three characters in that class I want to redesign, then promotion makes sense to me. Otherwise, there's little reason to do it.
