I'm only promoting for the N7 banner (it's the last one I have left). After I get it, I'm not promoting any more.

Yes, both of these are good reasons. Also, each N7 milestone motivates me to keep playing (3000, then 4000, etc.)

+1, I like promoting myself, feels more challenging going into a game with a low level character also.

Yes. The most efficient way of resetting powers all across the board. Alternative is to just cheat your way to Reset Powers cards.

I stopped back in November, and only did two for that last challenge weekend. I never played low level characters in gold or silver, so it would take me about 4.5 hours of gameplay to level it back up to 18 for gold/platinum. The only banner I cared about was map mastery.

It was a failed concept, IMO, and I doubt promoting will be built into the next multiplayer.

No. I maxed out my manifest fast mainly because I didn't go after the worthless N7 ranking, and never needed to spend time on lower difficulties or spending my money on recruit packs. If there is need for a new build I'll just use a reset card.

Even before the banners, I promoted, more for variety than anything. There was a stretch of time where I would play a character from level 1-20 and promote so I could do the same thing with the next character in the same class--kind of keeping the credit-grind interesting for me.

Now my stupid N7 score makes me look like I know how to play.

Yes. I promote almost every time a class reaches 20. However I make sure I have at least 1 class that is at 20 (just in case)

I promoted when the rng gave infinite character cards, and for n7 mastery, but otherwise no.
i didnt enjoy a single promotion on my way to n7 4500, i hated promoting.

I stopped long ago before challenges were added...its on 420, this was not a planned outcome, but the child in me is happy with it...
