Listen most people have been building scripting or createing custom content for years and theres a bunch of people here working together.Everyone is basicly firmillar with peoples abilitys. So why not join up and make our own game modeled after nwn.Ive heard excuses the last time i asked a few years ago but now years later people are still putting alot of effort into this game but dont you guys want to make some cash?Theres a great group here thats probally better then some teams working getting paid.So think about it seriously and post if you would be intrested.

"game modeled after nwn" - Bioware would surely sue. Why not make a game not modeled on something?
Let's say RPG based on Pathfinder.
Then again About Paizo > Community Use">Community Use terms say it should be non-commercial but I guess we could reach an agreement with Paizo.
If not making RPG system from scraps would be doubling the time needed.

If this idea + a series project that might survived the first year and gained some spotlight on the gaming newspages already I would have jumped on immidiately a few years ago but now I dedicate my time and work for the community and myself only w/o wanting anything back except some feedback and even that is not a must! I think i´m really done with the money making idea.

Back in my first years of modding i had a strong vision and a future plan going into the biz and i can write a book what "NOT" to do....

Once money is involved there's no pleasure in making games unless you do it for a living anyway. If you do it in your free time and don't need and want any money for it it is fun. There are no deadlines, you don't have to give a #+*= if you want to make a dwarven stronghold that also uses wood as a building material while everybody else tells you that dwarfs only use rocks/stone. Once freedom is replaced by pressure there is no more room for fun.

From someone who knows they don't have the skillset required anyway, I'm not interested. I may have the occasional bright idea, but the execution often lets me down (hence my cast offs). So do I need the pressure, nah. I am one of those who work a lot worse under pressure, especially time pressure. Currently I (mostly, how do you get rid of keyboard impressions from your forehead?) have fun So thanks, but no thanks.

Ya ive made mistakes as well and its nice to just take a break.i downloaded a 8 bit app gamd called gurk 2.it was real fun and i was like man this is 8 bits but fun.so i guess theres some new toolsets for makeing apps.it just sickening loking at something all new and unfirmillar.i think everyones done a vood job here and it is sort of kicked back.i still kind of want to make a 8 bit or something simular.i think it would cut model time down in 2 d.everything looks like icons and its round based.sort of like pool of radience back in 80...kind of building a quadcopter now and its a headache in its own way....

there was something like this... the premium mod program, but Atari, in it's wisdom, decided to kill it off.
