David Gaider chose Synthesis; Can we just accept that every ending has shades of gray?

David Gaider chose Synthesis. Interestingly, he didn't have the peace option on Rannoch, so he sided with the quarians. He also wasn't thrilled to discover that a peace option was possible.
Anyway, can we finally just accept that people who choose Synthesis are not megalomaniacal racists who wish to bend the universe to their will? It's a valid ending option with shades of gray, just like the other choices. Yes, it's loaded with pseudoscience and mysticism, but there are ways to get around the poor writing. If you don't like it, then pick one of the other endings. Picking Control does not mean that you approve of dictatorships, and picking Destroy does not mean that you are a neo-Luddite.

Dude, we freaking get it. You get
a massive hard on with synthesis and control. You don't need to make a
damned thread about it everyday.
I don't make a thread about it everyday. I actually made a pro-Destroy thread several days ago. Also, I "freaking get" that BSN loves Destroy and hates the other endings, and yet this site shows no sign of moving beyond that any time soon. Almost every ending thread turns into pro-Destroy propaganda, which is very tiresome. Yet, you are sick of my threads?

People who chose synthesis are people who after fighting battle after battle against the Reapers, in the end decided to become Reapers.
Choose Destroy.

Maybe he was confused by the endings, or was enamored with the idea of making this

part machine? Synthesis -- it isn't just about advanced organics and synthetics.

Well, I'm a huge fan of the Dragon Age series, and it was interesting to discover that the lead writer chose an ending that is reviled by many. I was motivated to discuss the "grayness" of the endings.

As long as he doesn't decide to optimal solution to solve the mage-templar conflict is to forcibly turn everyone on Thedas into abominations, does his preference really matter?

What, really?
Damn, you need to read more.
But hey, in all seriousness... Cool. I'm glad Gaider played himself some Mass Effect and enjoyed it.
