David Gaider chose Synthesis. Interestingly, he didn't have the peace option on Rannoch, so he sided with the quarians. He also wasn't thrilled to discover that a peace option was possible.

Anyway, can we finally just accept that people who choose Synthesis are not megalomaniacal racists who wish to bend the universe to their will? It's a valid ending option with shades of gray, just like the other choices. Yes, it's loaded with pseudoscience and mysticism, but there are ways to get around the poor writing. If you don't like it, then pick one of the other endings. Picking Control does not mean that you approve of dictatorships, and picking Destroy does not mean that you are a neo-Luddite.

David Gaider also liked the romance in Twilight.

JUST SAYING.

Not sure how I missed this one, but if it's true.....well yea it kind of speaks for itself

Is that nugget seriously still being passed around?

I read the first Twilight novel because I thought it was worth examining. The romance in it obviously struck a chord with some, and I wanted to take a look at how and why rather than relying on the judgement of others-- many of whom probably have neither read the book for themselves or seen any of the movies. I imagine these are the same people who would deride fundamentalists for condemning the content of books they've never read, or hated the reports on "graphic sexual content" in Mass Effect by people who'd clearly never played it or given said content even cursory examination.

I said at the time that Twilight wasn't to my personal taste, but obviously that means I love it and Edward is totally my waifu. It's funnier to say that, and evidently people will believe anything if you repeat it enough.

As for the ME3 ending-- I'm uncertain why anyone should care which one I chose in that playthrough from almost a year ago. If someone needs my character's choice to lend theirs legitimacy... I'm not sure what that says about their own convictions, but it's not good.

I have to ask. Is anybody sure he didnt get synthesis by accident. Maybe he was just expolring the crucible and got too close to the beam forcing the synthesis cutscene but was so disgusted by the endings he couldnt bring himself to reload and choose destroy..

I weighed the options and chose what I felt was the lesser of three evils. I stand by my choice and am perfectly capable of thinking for myself, thanks.
