I suspect he was implying you're a fanatic for choosing Synthesis.

The hate, vitriol, bitterness, and anger levelled at Synthesis only make me empathise with it more. It's strange and not well understood, so it's met with a lot of xenophobia.

I fear to think how humanity will react when we meet aliens if xenophobia is that common. We're going to make ourselves such a threat to them that they'd likely realise it's best to do away with us because we're so violently inclined and hateful, and that our planet might serve the galactic community better as a shiny parking lot. I wouldn't blame them.

I'm genuinely starting to think that the reason some people hate Synthesis is because nohting dies in it and they need to see things die in order to feel centred.

I am geniouly confused about that. What has being anti-Synthesis to do with xenophobia?

don't worry too much about it, they're already here and already know...xenophobia is just another tool. Image IPB

I think you monumentally have no idea what you're talking about in regards to destroyers.

Just kidding. No, I don't understand. Unless you are suggesting that being afraid of Reapers is Xenophobia, that is.

Right...

The forcing everyone to be the same perfect group or they are inavlid is such a better example of morale behaviour and has never resulted in countless tragedies.

it's quite well understood by those who hate it. That's why it's hated.

It's a fundamental alteration of one's being without their knowledge or consent.

If that weren't enough there may be mass brainwashing involved, hinted at in the implication that Synthesis ends all conflict. If Salarians and Krogan are suddenly going to become friends afterwards there has to be some alteration going on.

Synthesis is based on false xenophobic and racist logic, not to mentioned as a bonus by violating both natures of synthetics and organics into making them the same which will make them in some way peaceful now...

People hate synthesis because it´s one of worst 3 kind of violations of dignity which ME3 ending has to offer, there is no winning scenario which will punish the Reapers for what they were doing over and over again - the single scenario which do this stuff drag down also Geths as a bargain chip set by Catalyst into final choice just as a reason to choose different choice.
Synthesis is space magic, and not just that but as another bonus your beloved Catalyst contradicts himself by saying that now it´s an invevitable which just not making a synthesis alone pointless but also control.

If you want to see **** depressing choice then go and play Spec Ops, but ME3 had pointless choices based on insane logic of insane creation of its insane creators... not to mentioned again that it contradicts the rest of the lore with some points.

...but obvious troll is obvious...

PS: We had a few crazy maggots which were trying to ascend humanity to pure race and this stuff... guess how it turns out.

It's the 'interactivity' part. Suspicion that evil reapers are 'just ships' without separate mentality, innocent by reason of no sanity..etc. Big ugly bad tasting 'pill' to swallow, in reference to 'popular opinion'. Not so much the reapers themselves, as to what they represent, as beings and their intellect that guides them.

Like that song says, "Blinded by the Plight"..

Very true. I've never liked that message. But with the Reapers, that literally is the case.

Auldie thinks that it's ok for the Reapers to kill us and every other species that has existed to this point since it's not 'killing' but 'ascending'. And when the mastermind of the whole cycle shows up at the end to spout his beliefs, he's absolutely right. It's all our fault so we have to be harvested to save ourselves.

I wonder if Star Jar ever thought that maybe he and his cephalods of doom were the problem. Imposing their sense of order on a galaxy to stop an eventuality that has already been overcome without synthesis.

And really, the last 5 minutes and I'm about to fire the big gun pointed at the head of the Reapers, and he decides to show up? And I'm supposed to listen to him? For the good of all races, organic and synthetic, I'm going to destroy the Reapers. Even if I have to sacrifice the present synthetics like the Geth and EDI.

Some of the people who chose Synthesis are no less fanatic in claiming Synthesis is the best ending. How many pro-Synthesis threads contain word 'genocide' when referring to Destroy? Every one that I've visited so far.

The only difference is that since Destroy is overwhelmingly the fan favorite, Destroy also has more fanatics.

Well, the term 'genocide' does have some specific connotations, but there just is no other word for 'killing every single member of a species'. Which is what you do, if you consider the geth to be a species.
Also, what's so bad about saying your preferred ending is the best one, anyway? Everyone does that. It's the people who say the other endings are horrible who are fanatics.

The simple truth of one part of the matter is. That we build them. Always will. So 'WE' are the problem. Killing/destruction of reaperships is like shooting our feet off. Synthesis has always been a matter of 'change' as to/if 'understand'. A higher form of communication. Riot control on cosmic scale.

All choices are like that, forced upon someone/most everyone. Just like the rules of evolution.

The ONLY way to actually 'destroy' something, is not to make it in the first place. With technology, it appears that eventually it might just make "us". Abstract, but possible. Like the old stargazer states, all the facts may not be present, as it all happened so very long ago.

(what ever it was that actually happened?)

Hey, how come we're not discussing the really interesting question. Why didn't Gaider get a peace option at Rannoch? Botched Tali's LM? Really bad SM decisions?

I'm more curious as to why "He also wasn't thrilled to discover that a peace option was possible." or when he actually said so.
