we're all mad about choices someone made in a video game.

First World Problems

Not the choice. The reasoning behind the choice. If someone chose Destroy because they wanted to kill the geth and the quarians in one run, that would say something about their psychology.

It would?

Almost certainly not, which is why posters like Auld Wulf are completely off-base and wrong about almost every observation they make.

No no don't you know. Killing pixels means you're a terrible person in real life! :wizard:

Gotta love BSN logic.

There still seems to be a lot of people on these forums who do not get that the synthesis was the best possible ending. Just like in politics. Blue is the right wing, red the left wing. Green is the enviromentalist party that takes best of both sides and works to bring a change into the world - a change that offers the future generations a lasting future.

I have to ask. Is anybody sure he didnt get synthesis by accident. Maybe he was just expolring the crucible and got too close to the beam forcing the synthesis cutscene but was so disgusted by the endings he couldnt bring himself to reload and choose destroy..

I weighed the options and chose what I felt was the lesser of three evils. I stand by my choice and am perfectly capable of thinking for myself, thanks.

Go team Gaider!

Seriously though. Gaider is awesome. Dragon Age 2 has some of the best writing in any game and was a complete pleasure to play through several times. I thought the anti-bioware people would have left by now... one can wish, one.. can.. wish.

As Gamlen says "If wishes were poppy, we'd all be dreaming"

I think this thread is well and truly off-topic now. If you wish to discuss your ending choices, please use one of the many existing threads in this forum. Thank you.

End of line.
