The thing abot COD is........................ when I have the Money saved up, I can GET WHAT I WANT IN THE STORE!!! I don`t have to pay my Money and take my chances. I know a claymore costs 5000 COD Dollars (or whatever it is called). So, played enough, high enough Level............. IT`S MINE!!!!!

It's too bad every gun is the same.

They're way too loose with their mechanics. It's a much more effective strategy to have no strategy than to play tactically (at least, in normal lobbies. I don't know how the super 1337 pros play). In a game claiming to be "realistic", that says something. And it's nothing good.

theres only one strategy you need when playing call of duty multiplayer, and it's tried and true since time immemorial (2007) ...shoot them before they shoot you...the whole realism thing is just advertising and marketing...BF3 is all over it for realism and stragety...yet when the smoke clears its call of duty still tops..... and mw2 has anderson on it...RAMIREZ!... DO EVERYTHING!..RAMIREZ HERES A PLASTIC SPORK,TAKE OUT THAT REAPER DESTROYER WITH IT!...you did good son...im ..proud of you...im......proud.....of.....you....ra......meriz

Apples and Oranges. You can't compare the two games.

Every community has their less than nice players, it's wrong to tar everyone with the same brush.

As for receiving that many messages, well there's usually no smoke without fire...

I used to play BF3 before this came out (never really could stand COD), but once ME3 came out, I was hooked. I tried to go back to BF3 a little while ago and realized why I left. For people like me who try to improve skill wise, but can never seem to get better than a certain point, those games become completely lame and frustrating. ME3 on the other hand, I don't have to worry about being bested by another player and can just have a fun, relaxing time gaming. Plus I don't have to worry about people being jerks, whereas those other games it's always a problem.

Wait, are you a serb? Or are you a Croat (as per your name)? I can imagine you might find that a little offensive.

I'm croatian. XBL messages don't really offend me, I'm used to getting hate mail from COD and Dark Souls.
Getting positive messages and good rep is new for me. Just wanted to point that out.

Man, you guys want to see a terrible community, go try out League of Legends.

Agree that ME3 has one of the better communities and agree that it probably has something to do with it being PvE.

Apples and Oranges.

Why can't I compare those two?
They're both fruit and both serve the same purpose to me.
I can and will compare them because they can and should be compared to each other.

How true that OP is..

I bought BlOps2 to chat/play with some RL friends I rarely get to see, and after a week of CoD I've gotten more rage/hate mail than the 1Year of ME3(And I did get some from ME PUGs).

Also.. what is Serb suppose to mean? :º

Every community has its share of a-holes. Hell, you have a-holes here on BSN who look down upon players who don't play the way they'd want them to play. However, I'm not dumb enough to throw all of the ME3 community under the same "a-hole" boat as the jerks on BSN, because I know that the minority =/= majority. Also, it's just plain stupid logic.

As a person who plays CoD, the stereotypes about CoD players get very tiring, and so do the numerous misconceptions about the game itself. In public games, teamwork and strategy isn't absolutely necessary in CoD, but it undoubtedly makes matches much more easier to win.

Sure, I can go into a game by myself and go Rambo without a care in the world, but I can also draw enemy fire with an Assault Shield (think ME3's Geth Juggernaut) or bring a friend, with both of us using smoke grenades + millimeter scanners/dual band scopes to clear out entrenched enemies nearby flags in Domination (strategy + teamwork) and capping them to earn points towards my UAV/Orbital VSAT (team player).

Same applies to ME3. I can join a public match with the intent of gunning with an AR, or I can play with two friends, with me and 1 other using an Adept for BEs (strategy + teamwork), and the other using a Volus to boost our shields when things get rough (team player).

In short, teamwork and strategy isn't completely necessary, but the option is there.

Don't like CoD? Cool, your opinion. However, that doesn't give you the right to go thinking that you, as a human being, are of higher worth than someone else because of the game they play.

Well, MOST of the people that I've come across while playing Mass Effect tend to understand the themes: diversity, choice, exploration, ect, ect. It's only natural that people that play the multiplayer apply these themes, although I do get too pragmatic sometimes when I see someone equip commons/lvl 1 URs on platinum; in my opinion, Mass Effect is mainly geared towards a more 'mature' crowd since it takes a more comprehensive mind to bond with the characters and to understand the lore of the universe that Bioware has constructed. Nobody on Mass Effect that I've met has been insulting, except for the people that bash on me for romancing Kaidan (omg, why did you rescue him! He's gay, plus you're male LOL). While they rant their homophobia, I whoop their a**** into actual dust by doubling, if not, tripling their scores.

Frequent platinum player: check out my manifest/add me as a friend. I'm on during the evening hours (central, United States).

The difference for me is that I find Mass Effect to be enjoyable games.

I do not find Call of Duty to be so.

I firmly believe that nothing has a worse community then League of Legends, however.

And this is why I stick to Coop vs AI in LoL.
