Exactly why I want ME to stay PvE (evolve there sure, no need to stick to horde mode) but not go PvP.

Exactly, pvp brings out the worst in people and I am guilty myself of raging down the microphone and having pointless arguments, ME3 saved me from COD.

This except most of the rage was directed at myself, though still fairly elitist and pointless. It still is, in the case of PC. For some reason Counter Strike doesn't make me as much of a despicable waste of oxygen.

The nature of the games is different too. Being straight up coop promotes a better community. People who care about the final standings are the minority in ME. Also it's harder to teabag.

Like the difference between Phil Simms and Jeff Hostetler's mustache :)

The difference between BlOps2 and ME3 is that one is a brilliantly designed game with an overly-stereotyped community, that I just happen to not enjoy the core mechanics of, and the other is ME3.

Our community isn't that great either - I mean the first real mod for this game took a major choice and turned it into a statistical decision. Remember what this trilogy is meant to be about?

ME3=Materpiece of a game
BO2=Pile of trash

Dream on. ME3 is good, but not that good. It seems to me to be unfinished. I like them both. But lately, ME3 is just a Rage Grind and not fun anymore.

The thing abot COD is........................ when I have the Money saved up, I can GET WHAT I WANT IN THE STORE!!! I don`t have to pay my Money and take my chances. I know a claymore costs 5000 COD Dollars (or whatever it is called). So, played enough, high enough Level............. IT`S MINE!!!!!

It's too bad every gun is the same.

Don't kid yourself. I'm not going to go into details, but besides maybe two ARs and a few SMGs, NONE of the other weapons in the first Black Ops were literally the same. Compared to others, some weapons had similar traits, but most had enough features to make them stand out from the other choices.

To anyone saying the same thing about Black Ops 2 with a straight face: humor me more.

Some perspective... I know quite a few of my fourth graders play Black Ops 2. Then they raise their eyebrows and go all wide-eyed when I tell them I play ME3, especially the MP portion, like it's forbidden territory (probably because 'sexual content' is on the warning label, and that's all they know). So, ya know... To each their own and all that.

I've never played the CoD games— never had, nor will I ever have, a console— so I can't say anything for or against it. But I'm betting most ME3MP players have a strong connection to the universe through their Shepard's journey, if nothing else. That kind of leaks into the MP aspect. Whether you want to kill the heck out of some Reapers, blow up Collectors, save someone from execution as they're bleeding out, or cover your teammate as they run the objective back to the LZ, it's all connected. Even if you don't have an intricate backstory for your MP character(s), you're still stepping into the RP bit of "RPG" by some degree every time you ready up.

There is what I believe the major issue with BO2 is.  There is a large contingent of underage players

For whatever reason my skill level in Call of Duty has gone to crap ever since Black Ops 2 came out. I want to punch the screen every time I play.

I'll just stick to Mass Effect.
