I have Mass Effect 3, but I bought it used.  Point being the access code has already been used, much to my inconveinience.

So anyway, I cannot access online features.  Thing is, I don't care for the online features - I don't even have Xbox LIVE so it is pointless.

So I'm not paying $10.00 for a pass code to access something I'm not going to be able to use unless I pay over $30.00 for Xbox LIVE.  Does that make sense?

My problems:
1.  I cannot post on the Mass Effect 3 forums for a reason I do not understand.
2.  I do not know how to connect my Galaxy at  War on my iOS app 'Mass Effect: Datapad' to my Mass Effect 3 game.
3.  I do not know how to connect my Mass Effect 3 game to my Origin Account that I am using on these forums.  For Mass Effect 2 I just put in the barcode number and voila.

Mass Effect 3 is almost unbearable to play knowing you can't get a good ending without multiplayer, so I must rely solely on Galaxy at War - but I am not sure if I know how to connect the two.

I was going to say that I posted a thread about the Galactic Readiness in the ME3 forums...and the posters said that you can actually get all the Assets needed even with 50% readiness.

However, I believe that is only the case if you have the EC ending installed...which you cannot get if you don't have pass code or xbox live access.

Anyways...without having xbox live or pass code access...you're S.O.L.

Even if you did have a sync account with Origin and your datapad...you still wouldn't be able to upload the galactic readiness to the actual game without xbox live and the access code.

EDIT: Xbox live is only $9.99 per month.

Actually, I did download the Extended Cut.  You do not need the Passcode nor Xbox LIVE Gold.  So long as you're connected to Xbox LIVE Silver (Gold is required to have multiplayer).  So I already have the EC.

But to work all the way up to 7000+ War Assets only to be able to use 3100+ is really annoying.

Do I need the Passcode to link Datapad to Mass Effect 3?

When you start up ME3...does it show your Galactic Readiness to the right?

If so...I think you just need your Origin Account that you use with Datapad to match up with your Xbox live account.

I assume you mean that laptop thing?  No, it does not open.  Underneatj it it has scrollingtext saying something along the lines of "An online pass is required to access the multiplayer featurs of this content".

Then yeah...you would need the online pass for anything to transfer to the actual game.

Without getting that...the readiness will not update in the game.

So in other words I have to do every single War Asset there is in the game to achieve the best ending?
