The game was good but not even close to DAO. Sales and ratings do not lie.

So CoD and Skyrim must be some of the best games ever right? I have to like them because of "sales and ratings"

God forbid someone can decide they like something you don't with out throwing these half assed meaningless arguments as to why they are wrong for not being just like you.

Skyrim is one of the best games of this generation, for sure.CoD just have a really big fan base (and there's a reason why is so)And no, I m not saying that you have to like what I like, I'm just stating a fact.

I still think it sucks. Worst game I've played this year.

What games have you played this year?  Is it 2013 or 2012?  I like DA2 for me it's the best game of 2011.Image IPB

I don't think I've ever written on this section of the boards, but OP, I just wanted to say that I agree. I don't really get what everyone hates so much about DA2 either. I thought it was a perfectly good game, though there maybe were some little things here and there I'd prefer to have done differently.

I actually didn't mind that you were "trapped in Kirkwall" as some people put it and were not a big savior of the whole world. I don't know about anyone else, but I think it's a bit tiring to always be the penultimate hero - the one who saves us from the brink of total annihilation - each and every game/story/whatever. I liked that Hawke was just a regular person, who worked hard, rose to prominence, and made a difference, even if it wasn't as grand a difference as the Warden. And I thought the storyline was tight, logical, and gave me closure.

I'm getting ready to start my 2nd ever playthrough, as Legacy hadn't come out the first time I played. It's possible I've forgotten stuff about the game, so maybe I'll post about what I think after playing again.

Preach it - I'm so tired of the "Chosen One" plots in games nowadays! DA II is such a different game that its a breath of fresh air.
