This is another good one. Just remember to use the right melee (light vs. heavy) in the right situation.

What about the Talon Merc Omni Bow ... doesn't this also count as melee damage?
Of course, you would limit the use of Cain Mines (Gasp!)

Apparently not (see my earlier post). You'll get Melee kill medals but the combat mastery challenge totals don't increase.

I went specifically to work on the melee challenge, worked SS through a whole match, and didn't notice any appreciable difference in my melee points. So I don't think it does.

KROLORD!!! Use the GPS/omni-blade. It will stagger Phantoms so you aren't penetrated!

BS is not melee. SS is. Still, not sure of it appliea points. Very likely.

For the melee, Krolord vs geth on gold. Grenades, any drell, vanilla krogans, male quarians (infil and engy), Batarian soldier, AsariGuard, Batdept, or any of the beginning infils if you got the aim and the skill with the stickies.

Playing classes that use melee obviously. I never had to grind this thing. Try out Krogan, Batarian, Shadow, Edibot, N7 paladin, Vorcha, Cabal melee builds and generally melee stuff that spring on you from the corner.

If I remember correctly SS points are in the Tech Mastery challenge, so I don't think it counts as a melee.
On topic, what about AIU? She has a great melee
