Gave a n7 87 guy a chance today. Reason? He was fully equipped with relevant equipment even if they were level 1. Turns out he was pretty good. But then again, most people only look at n7 and half of the high level players turn out to be rubbish, stingy, no gels, no missles etc.

N7 - 95?! Kicked.

J/k. You have to understand that no matter how prepared you think you are, you will be a burden. Seasoned players understand, and that's why they will kick. MORE IMPORTANLY! Newer players are abundant. A lot of them just don't want to take the chance. You can't really blame them.

I don't usually kick. Not much point.

I've seen javelin wielding GI's fail horribly and have to be carried.
What's the difference with new players?
99% of pugs fail anyway. Kick him and you'll just get another bad player in who's higher N7 simply masks his failure somewhat.

At least as a NEW player they are malleable and not already stuck with bad habits.
Let them play. At least that way they might learn something from the experience.

:oWhoa! I guaranteed success against all but Collectors. I almost never failed, and all I did was pug. I dont like your number. <_<

Seriously though. If you have trouble succeeding, be more selective in your group. At least until you are confident you can carry gold matches. Elitist DB mentality ftw!:D

I never said I failed.

Reading comprehension Darkseid.

I said 99% of pugs are useless bulletsponges.

Well there's your problem. Pay your dues and gain experience on the lower difficulties.

I'll admit if there's a vote going to kick a low N7, I'll almost always vote to kick as well. Even with a power based class and the correct weapons, more likely than not that person isn't carry a good load of consumables. Sometimes you get a really bad escort or hack objective, but the new players don't carry missiles or medi gel to push through.

This is the big thing that most people fail to realise. Then there is also the lack of experience. There are always those situations where everything goes to **** and I want someone with experience in those situations and can come through them.

Ok it sounds like I should definitely stick to silver until I get a lot more items and experience. What packs should I be looking to open to get the best value for items at my level?

you should go for Premium Spectre Packs, (rare and ultra rare stuff appear here sometimes)  Reserve Packs (character pack) and Jumbo Equipment Packs, (gear/equipment pack)  Arensal Packs (weapon pack)  they are very good.

You should really take the time to learn more about this game, your posts come across as trolls. Suggesting a new player simply go into gold is one of the main issues with pugs today, players need to spend a few hours in bronze and silver to learn the game, weapon and kits. Not everyone wants to carry every single game.

OP: I haven't seen your manifest, buy Vetran packs as you will unlock gear and that is important for higher levels, PSP's are a waste of credits until you have your rare's max'd out. SP's will give you the best bang for your credits, vuy say 5 ventran packs to every SP pack, if you do end up going into gold make sure you have your rockets and medi gel.
