be careful because some, like the three Nalia romance mods are not compatible with each other.
Example Amber romance comes before Nalia romance because it adds an NPC , instead of just adding new dialogs.

I like more dialog/banter, more npc stuffs. more quests always fun. Does some those other mods make game more fun or? currious somewhat on some the other mods available...
currently just playing a human fighter class, been peaking at kit mods and such besides the listeds...
dunno if my game already prepatched or not... either way ToB is installed ontop of SoA.

I would definitely suggest BG1 NPC Project if you like NPC interactions. Probably also BG1 and BG2 Unfinished Business that add back original quests deleted during game development. If you don't know the game well then introducing tweaks to the rules is perhaps not necessary.whichever ones will work good with each other, Sarevok's friendship/romance options a must.

For that many mods you could follow the general advice ussnorway gave on mod order or look at the Big World Project to see which order they install mods in, or follow the order given at http://kerzenburg.ba....eu/bwpmods.php. You may find some incompatibilities between mods - it's worth looking at the readme for each mod to see if they mention any specific conflicts. Generally speaking mods using Weidu will be pretty compatible.

Grond0 and ussnorway have given sound advice. I would recommend looking at the Big World Project
I wouldn't particularly recommend using it unless you want the defaults for each mod (where the mod has options), but last time I tried the installer it has a huge menu that is expandable. It rates mods as red/amber/green/unstable and the order shown is tried & tested so you can look down this huge list, choose mods that interest you and copy what order they are installed in.
Then go and manually install.

For now, try it out, and if it seems Ok you could run with it, but don't be surprised if you hit a game-stopping glitch.
At some point you should do a full uninstall, delete the BG2 folder, or at least the override folder, and then re-install SoA & ToB. Next install the ToB patch, and if you want to, back up the override & language files. finally you can start installing mods.

Note you should ignore the SoA one, called 'Baldur's Gate II Official Patches'. You want the 'Throne of Bhaal Official Patches'.

though trolls took out Nathaniel during quest, not sure if he might've lost his swords. doesn't matter to me much.
I will reinstall if I encounter a bad bug, no worries there.
how enable console? too little inventory space, need bag of holding of some kind. edited .ini but I don't think control key quite works for that in game...

under Program options in the ini file.
Then in game just press space and ctrl together to open the console.

edit 2: how to remove/uninstall certain npc mod npc if setup uninstall doesn't quite work?

In theory WeiDU should allow mods to be added and removed at will, if running a mod install a second time and selecting uninstall doesn't work it is likely your install has been corrupted and requires a full re-install.
& if you are after stability it is best to try not to have any uninstalled mods (at least I think that is what ussnorway says).

passing second cow when going on west side map past copper coronet results in same error, lower chance of it happening on the east side which is not to say it doesn't happen.
will edit with more details once found.
tried adding a "logging on" but .rr appears empty.

hmm, going a certain point on the wood-stair-plank thingy also causes.

No patch = no game... There is no wait and see room, without it your game will stop working (sooner or later) every single time.
Don't have installs and un-installs together... WeiDU is better than what come before but it can't uninstall long mods (especially older ones) without some errors leaking in.

Two google hits for this on the gamestop / impulsedriven site. Is that what you bought, or do you have actual cds? Doesn't matter either way I suppose, although it may make me blacklist them.

First off, check that the shortcut you are launching points to the new G: directory not the old install. Delete old shortcuts and use the new ones from the start menu.
Edit Baldur.ini, and find the [Alias] section. Check all 6 directory paths are correct.

I find it a little scary that you made a detailed crash to desktop map of the slums district. I would have reached for the install cds after the first one. You then say that 'so far games been working fine' .. speechless. I'm glad you re-installed.

I hate to say this, but THE NEXT TIME YOU INSTALL, you should install the fixpack immediately after the Official patch, and before any other weidu mods. This fixes many game breaking bugs.

For complicated reasons Ascension should go before the fixpack, but I see you dropped that anyway.
If you hit another game-breaking bug in this run, you could try installing it and seeing if it fixes it. I would also suggest keeping a couple of saves, so if you do install the fixpack, you can load an earlier save from before you went into the area where you got the bug. I generally keep 5 saves, and always save over the oldest one.

had did a google myself, found something about making new folders in the Data folder n moving files from CD#-folders to there. After that editting Baldur config to have directory point to right place.
yet to test if Slums still crashes or not, currently in Spellhold Gauntlet 3rd part...
minor bug with NPC Mod Fade, with her name in convo boxes and when mousing over her (both portrait & avatar) is now an old section of a previous conversation.
Otherwise, so far no problems.
I always try a couple things to test out when run into crashes n such like that, helps me pinpoint the problem.
Will update whenever I can for Slums crashing or not...

EDIT: it's a 4-in-1 boxset, so discs.
