Unfortunately I do not know much about modeling. You could ask around on the ME3 explorer forums, if you haven't already.
Thanks anyway and apologies for slightly diverting the topic. I believe I begin to understand the issue. In blender if you change to "pose mode" then you can manipulate the body mesh (in some odd ways) by grabing one of the "artifacts" that each has a body part name. One manipulates the knees, another the lower back, etc. So it appears that these things are tied to how the model is moved/manipulated in-game.
Thanks again for the dialog fix and answering my questions.
My ultimate goal in all this is to "fix" the horrific "sexy" dresses in the game. Particularly Ashley's dress in the Citadel DLC. HORRIBLE. Like Allers. Ashley suddenly takes on a rather mishapen form (so does Brooks) when in the dress - big butt, strange over-exagerated arch to the back, tummy out, etc. Mishapen and lumpy. Ashley (and Brooks) simply do not have lumpy and mishapen bods - they have spectacular bods - so I hope to learn how to manipulate the actual meshes to the point that I can make Ash look as good in a dress as she does in armor and her default uniform. Futzing with the actual mesh models is the only way since doing retextures simply changes the color of lipstick on the pig as it exists.
