Hello everyone. I was wondering since there is the new Citadel DLC and it changes based on your romances is there some kind of program that works 100% and can make it so you can create your own saves. For instance you can choose who died in the suicide mission on number 2. Something that you can fully customize like your relationships in the first and second one edit all the choices. Thank you for reading I just can't seem to find one anywhere. It will save me a lot of time and effort having to play the first 2 games just to change my romances and stuff like that.

Take care and thanks again for reading.

Edit Reason: tl;dr something that is easy to use and makes a save file so you can import it and play through mass effect 3.

I posted similar question about gibbed editor which seems to allow options you want. I'm just concerned with legal implications as don't want cut off from the MP. The new Genesis 2 download is okay but doesn't allow the option to save crew + upgrade ship or allow Kasumi and Zaheed to be brought into ME3. Also limits romance options in ME2 to only Garris and Tali.

So the Xbox/PC gibbed editor seems to be your best option.

The only issue with the Gibbed Save Editor is that you need to download both the ME2 version and ME3 version to get the maximum amount of options with editing your saves.
Create a ME2 save, then tweak it and use the editor to mark it as complete. Start a ME3 import, then use the ME3 editor to tweak it again. Most of the important variables for ME1 can be found in the ME2 editor, but some things (like meeting the arguing couple, meeting Nassana etc.) that affect 2 and 3 are not present.

What? SP does not effect MP in any way.

Meant it in way that it could be against EA rules so your online pass gets revoked so no more MP.

Would this problem apply if editing an imported ME3 save with the variable completed or does the editor bypass them making them void? As I said on other thread I only want to customise Shepard and save the other VS without having to do another trilogy play through - or suffer a Ash alive playthrough just want to play ME3 with her for once.

Just saves me from having to play the first 2 games over and over again just to get different story lines in the third one. I really appreciate your replied and your time in reading what I had to say.

Thank you all again and take care!

The Editor will only change what you want it to change. It won't touch variables that you leave alone. For instance, modding a save to kill off Ashley and replace her with Kaidan (best done with the ME2 editor) will not affect variables from the Suicide Mission or anything else.

@Epsilon330 thank you for this. I don't really want to tweak that many things. I just want to tweak the relationships cause I heard on the citadel DLC you can romance Samara, Jack, Miranda a lot more and get more scenes with them since in the game their romances were pretty boring. I just want something that does the basics if you understand what I am trying to say.

Thank you again so much! Would love a download link to those editors or even inbox me. I apologize if this was on the wrong thread.

Google it and old links from the BSN romance board come up (I'm on tablet so copy/paste is pain). And not wrong thread I read about lack of options in Genesis 2, saw your post and asked about options within gibbed editor, so I copied you basically :) To quote Grunt, "I'm sorry for setting your car on fire and I won't do it again" :D

If that's all you're looking to do then you'll probably be able to just use the ME3 gibbed save editor. You just need to tweak your save file before each relevant meetup on the Citadel with each respective character.

There is a possibility that you may need to change a bool value for Samara - I seem to recall something being said about only being able to romance Samara in the Citadel DLC if a) you're not romancing someone else in the game at the time of her scene, and B) that you tried it on with her in ME2. Now you can change the second part, to not be romancing anyone via the gibbed save editor, but if the bit about having to have tried it on with her in ME2 is true then you'll need to change the bool value in gibbed manually. Hopefully someone will be able to confirm this, and the relevant bool value needed to be changed if true.

Failing that, you can see the Samara romance scene here.

To find the gibbed editor - here

Just d/l the latest version, which appears to be all-r89_b114.zip

Note, if you're on 360, you'll  need Horizon as well to extract the save to your desktop.
