Ok let me see if I got this right...

Lets say a weapon does 1000 damage, single shot.

Enemy has barrier or armor.

Warp rounds IV equipped so damage +60% = 1600

If target is primed, extra 100% so 2600

If target is primed but enemy has shields or health then only biotic damage bonus takes effect = 2000

If target is not primed and on shields or health then no damage bonus.

Is this about right?

No, it's wrong. You can find info about it here. Basically, the 100% multplies the 60%, so it gets you 120% total damage, and it only works against barriers, health and armor, not shields. It does twice the damage against barriers though.

So if a target is shielded and primed it does no extra damage? Bummer.

Then against barriers it does +240% damage?

1 - exactly.

2 - yes, if the target is primed and you use warp IV.

No worries. And yes, disruptors/phasic are usually a much better choice against those factions :)

so - I got that the bonus damage applies when the target is primed and ends when its denotated.

However, I am wondering what happens if you detonate with a primer+detonater such as warp or reave.

For example: as Lady Abstract said in her Justicar-Guide:  you can make chain (double)-detonations with reave + biotic sphere.

And honestly: I got the feeling that I still do bonus-damage with my weapon after I detonated with reave.

And since there is a biotic DOT being active, it sounds reasonable to me.

Does anyone know this for sure?

The bubble reprimes, so it does keep the bonus damage going. Warp and reave do not, however, so the bonus damage ends when you detonate with those powers.

I believe it only gives the bonus damage if the target is primed, and I do believe that applies the detonate/prime combo of biotic sphere.  Warp & Reave both detonate and prime, but they don't do both simultaneously, as the sphere does (with the warp evolution).

Only a handful of a few biotic powers detonate and reprime for biotics: Biotic Sphere with the warp evolution, and lifting shockwave.
