again weak  excuse  and as long as you don't fire your gun you can  exit  a game in progress without losing your equipment, it just unequips it so find another excuse

There is not a chance in hell I am showing up in a lobby with consumables on. They have randomly disappeared just from showing in a lobby for me. So no.

Go find a better excuse for telling people to put on gear before they enter a lobby.

It's not a 100% sucess rate, but i have joined many many gold matches that were collectors on ps3 and exited out as soon as i was dropped in and didn't lose my equipment, i'm fairly certain you can even run around the map, a lil bit as long as you never do any actions like shooting/using powers and still exit without losing equips

At least put on L1 equipment OP. I got like hundreds of those from buying recruits, etc. Once you get in a good lobby put on the good stuff.

lol never once has that happened to me and even if it did i wouldn't care i have enough equipment to throw it away like candy on halloween so quit being cheap and equip up before searching. If you are running out of equipment  thats just poor equipment management, stop playing the same kit 75 times a day with the same equipment everytime...............................

 I had considered it but thought it might be a bad thing. Ppl see your level 1s and then never look again as you actually use good stuff and boot you.
It's a lose lose situation.

Unlike BSN, which is normally lose win.

Nah L1 equipment at least shows you're willing to put your resources on the line. Most folks take comfort in just seeing some items there

But I was under the impression you had on no gear bonus item. Thus when they returned to lobby you got X'ed up. But you say you had on the gear bonus so I dunno.

The entire idea behind kicking someone who just shows up to a lobby is plain stupid. (Seriously how do people not get this yet?)

I often match my gear to who I am teamed with. Drell with a recon mine? I'll rethink the Geth Scanner. What, I'm playing with three biotics? Warp ammo it is! Hmm, I'm playing with three infiltrators, maybe I should pick a tougher class...etc etc etc.

What you all seem to fail to understand is if I show up in a lobby what I have on is meaningless.

When I hit that green button, judge away.

I really do not understand the rationale at play behind Kicks. Often I do not agree with the decision to Kick a player. How is it better to go into Platinum only three players strong? Would that level 5 Krogan not help a little? Why do people automatically kick the Destroyer?????

It's the Destroyer with a certain gun on that gets kicked.

Consumables are used up even if you leave a game. You always use them ( unless it bugs ) once you join a game.

I think the problem is that they see you in the lobby way before you are actually in the lobby. So, they're thinking you're gonna play with no equipment because of the 10-30 second delay before you can actually do anything.

Blame Bioware.

I think you misreading the posts. I know I said I only kick after all attempts at communication has failed and the victim refuses to equip a permenant gear bonus.

This is incorrect. They do not get used unless you fire your weapon

I never have more than gear before I search because of this.
I'm not stingy, I just hate waste.

Far as I'm concerned, you want to start a match without consumables then go play bronze.
Join my lobby and ready up without even lvl 1s, you get my boot.
If you get dropped in without, you will only get the boot if you're unwilling to use rockets/gel.

Not saying you have to use them, just if its needed.
