In a recent play through of DA:O I finally decided to recruit Loghain, and make a hardened Alistair (with 100 approval,
if this matters) rule jointly with Anora. They agreed before hand at Eamons estate and this whole event went
smoothly at the landsmeet....
what makes me think i messed something up was that before the battle of denerim,
at the coronation scene, and my wardens funeral, Anora did all the talking and was the prominently featured person.
She made all the speeches and such.
Did i do something wrong? Or is Alistair that big a push over to just stand in the background all the time?
Did I mess this up?

Was she the only one at the coronation? For the speech at the battle of Denerim, she would be the one to make it. The funeral as well. Basically, both of those speeches are about how amazing the warden is, and Alistair, if Loghain is alive, doesn't think the warden is very amazing.

She was the only one I saw at the coronation scene
....and that makes so much sense I feel a tad dull for
Not realizing that myself. There is no way to make
Alistair rule alone while Loghain is recruited is there?
Thank you for the reply ejoslin

For that outcome of Alistair ruling alone there is no other way, other than Loghain being dead and Alistair being changed.

It is possible to do actually. Perhaps you did not actually harden Alistair?

Alistair has to be hardened for him to become king when Loghain is still alive. An unhardened Alistair will not marry Anora in that circumstance, no matter what, and he can end up one of two ways, and both are bad. I have a feeling even if you elect to let Anora execute Alistair, that will be handwaved.
The coronation scene is just a short cutscene with Duncan doing a VO and triumphant music playing with either Anora, Alistair, or both climbing some stairs and being blessed by the grand cleric. King Alistair with a living Loghain should still be in that cutscene. At the post-coronation ceremony, King Alistair should be hanging out in the background, and if the warden talks to him, Alistair is quite terse. Some people think he's forgiven the warden at that point if Loghain dies, but he's supposed to sound like he just doesn't like the warden at all and would like him/her to just go away.
