I own the gog version of NWN which is already patched to 1.69. Everything works fine, but I can't make the game run at 1920x1080 @ 60hz.. Even though I have set the game at this resolution, when I run the game it chances to 1920x1080 @ 30hz. I have tried almost everything, I re-patched it, I tried to disable v-sync from both the game and catalyst, I tried powerstrip etc but nothing... My tv supports full 1080p and my graphics card is the ATI Radeon HD 6950 and I have never experienced any problem kind of this. Any suggestion of what it could be?

I wish I could help you. I'm trying to get NWN to run on Windows 8. I can't even start a new topic because this website is so glitchy. This used to be a great site. Now it just feels dead.

Yeah I know what you mean, it seems dead to me too. It's a shame that I can't make it run in full 1080p and at the moment I am just limited to 720p that allows me 60hz... As for your issue, I suggest you to install it in C: , not in program files. Then find the files "nwmain.exe" and "nwn.exe" and change the Compatibility mode* to Windows XP (SP3) and also check the Administrator rights*, for both files. This should make it work I think.

*I am not sure if these are the correct terms in English version of Windows as I am not running English windows

I have a 1080p display but i'm running the Native Linux Client. I have 1080 as an option. If I get the time I will try to run it as 1080. I always runit 720 Windowed. I'm busy right now and in the morning though... Yes you may ask why i am on here then. Hury up and wait situation. LOL

I just ran at 1080p Windowed with no problem at all. A lot of Television class Screens will only do 30hz as the human eye can only see 29.?? frames a second. A Monitor class System will do > 30hz becasue your eyes catch glipses of the transition and make the animation smother when you watch higher fram rates.

What Brand and Model is the screen? See if we can find out the max hz,

My screen is Samsung UE40D6000 but I am completely sure that it doesn't have to do with my screen... It is the game that doesn't allow me to play it in full 1080p for some reason, not the screen. Everything else is playing nice and in full resolution. Thank you for the reply tho
