I hope the game stays dead along with all your hopes and dreams.

Only if you promise to give us better hopes and dreams  :P

I wouldn't get your hopes up, most of the games that Disney has pumped out have been mobile based and the only two things that we know for certain are that DICE is making Battlefront and that Visceral is making a Star Wars game (rumored to be open world).

I guess we don't really have enough data to make an educated guess, but the thing that has me doubtful is the fact that Disney let the trademark expire a while back, in fact that might have happened after Amy was brought on board.

I want 1313 really badly too, but just be cautious or you might end up being let down again (I mean, I'm sure that LucasArts probably would have screwed up the game somehow since they hadn't made a good game since Republic Commando and The Force Unleashed was their last passable game, but it still sucked that it got cancelled).

Was LucasArts actually the developers for 1313 though? If it was licensed out to some other developer it might've been good.

PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE!!!

I will blame you if it's not true. I wouldn't have this little spark of hope in my heart if it wasn't for that post >:-(

I remember seeing the trailer for that game. I wanted that so bad.

I love Jedi, and lightsabers, and all that stuff, but I was glad to see a game that wasn't focused on that

Then my hopes were crushed worse then Leia killing Jabba with the chains in ROTJ.

The chance of this game seeing the light of day is about 1 in a million

LucasArts were the developers, I remember reading how George Lucas walked into their offices as they were developing the game and told them to make the main character Boba Fett instead of being a no-name bounty hunter. I'll try to go find a source.

Edit: This link talks about what I mentioned above with Lucas, apparently the game had been scrapped at multiple points in production, so this makes me think that it probably wasn't going to be any good, however Lucas stepped in to try to guide the team by having them make the main character Boba Fett. He wouldn't have gotten involved if they had licensed it out to some studio to make.

Wikipedia's page also has LucasArts listed as the developer and publisher, so the game was probably going to be a trainwreck anyway, but it did, and still does, have potential.

Best edit out the original link of mine people quoted. I don't need anymore [expletive word to describe a person; plural form] jumping on the #IBlameFidite train.

I don't like to be THAT guy but is wikipedia actually a source? I'll check out the Kotaku article though.

I consider it one giving that it matches up with things that I'd read from previous articles in the past (like 1313's trademark being dropped back in 2013 and not picked back up), really I was just using it as a source that LucasArts was the developer and nothing more. Although, It does have everything in one place and was the most convenient.

Here's another source, granted it is also a wiki: http://starwars.wiki...Star_Wars:_1313

I wanted to find something from the likes of Gameinformer, but it was too hard to find some old news about 1313, most of it just deals with its cancellation (I've went through 7 pages of google for it).

I can't imagine both Wikipedia and Wookieepedia being wrong about LucasArts being the developer (Wookieepedia is super anal about everything, I'm not even joking, they'll argue and fight about the most minuscule details. As someone who used to occasionally fix spelling errors in their articles, I got permanently banned because my I.P. address changed) So yeah, they are super anal about anything and everything.

Lol WTF Wookiepedia

I know what did it, I was in college back then and I'd take my laptop with me between home and the dorms so the I.P. would change. I actually had an account and can still sign into it, but it was permabanned because I hadn't logged into it for 6 months, apparently that's their policy <_<

I just kind of figure that it's their loss, because I'm trying to better the place, but I still cringe every time I see a grammatical error and want to fix it, only to remember that I can't. I'd actually go so far as to say that Wookieepedia has the least friendly wiki based community after having looked at the discussion articles of quite a few pages. They get so hostile with each other, so rude.

I love to use it, it's the best Star Wars resource ever, but the community is just so horrible by large.

To make things relevant to the discussion again, I hope Star Wars 1313 gets revived. For what it's worth, the E3 game-play video of it did remind me and a lot of people of Uncharted. So maybe that's what they were going for when they hired on Amy, I'm still doubtful/skeptical though.

That game excited me too, but the story would have been all screwed up. They were going to put Darth Talon in it and she doesn't appear until the Legacy comics which takes place 137 years after Episode IV.

I guess they could have had her frozen in carbonite or something cheap like that to mirror how Darth Krayt would put himself in statis.

The SW 1313 game is 100% dead. I don't get why there is any discussion going on here about it or any other scrapped SW game.
