Not more realistic.  More moving.  Nude corpses lack the dignity of clothed corpses.

RE: Interactive sex roleplay. Second Life has a lot of it, and even there, the best part of it, said by expert after eXXXpert is the imagination part. Besides, it is another area where "multiplayer" or "co-op" pwns singleplayer   Like in combat, a clumsy AI is no match to having another human being interactive with your avatar and reacting to your shooting / healing / etc in real time

So let's see after 600 votes, where does the people on this forum stand on nudity.

If you combine options 1, 2, 3  and 4, 207 people voted for nudity.
In option 5, 35 voted for topless only (probably ala Witcher 2)

So if you count that as nudity, 242 people voted for nudity.

Now if you count options 6, 7, and 8, 244 people voted against it.

The rest don't care.

As you can see, the argument that only prude Americans and overly senstive people, outside of the "mature" BSN is against nudity, is pretty much BS. Half the people on this forum so far, doesn't want to stare at characters nude.

Perhaps. Of course M125 is merely an objective observer. If Bioware chooses to retrogress in this aka go backwards it will seem they caved to outside pressures , they will be severely criticized by some fans for doing so, and it will just contaminate the game as it's being released.

Much of DAO's design suggests that there was supposed to be nudity in it, but then the nudity was covered at the last. The first released clip of a desire demon showed her with exposed nipples. When asked about that, David Gaider said "it's not like we don't show nipples elsewhere, so whatever." (I'd link to that post if the old BioBoards were still up).

I need proof about that desire demon claim. I just looked at every trailer of DA:O, and didn't even see a desire demon.

I'd say it's representative of the regulars plus some occasional passers-by. i.e. people interested enough in both the question and the game to actually vote. The whole forum? Certainly not.

And what's even the whole forum put against the whole buyers base?

So, it's a small sample, not really representative of those who really count: potential DA3 buyers.

Or have no option to choose to accurately reflect their opinion, since the poll seems more about sex scenes than nudity in general.

M25 doesn't want any nudity. We get that. We get it. shrugs. Using the poll to try to justify his position. Ultimately the poll means nothing as it won't influence the developers. Can Bioware afford to tick off any more fans by going back on their past behavior ? I think not. shrugs. We'll see what they do.

Ren, seriously, I doubt the modders did this with Cailan's corpse specifically in mind. It's an oversight.

I think the other version mainly lends itself to the sex scenes (which seems to be the main draw for it from what I've read), but yeah, I wouldn't be able to undress my PC without rolling my eyes I think. And since I'd rather not sumble upon happy corpses... (And considering how easy it is to configure what you want if you can install the NBAIO override -- and can even do so without quitting the game -- I don't quite see why people don't just change it for the sex scenes and otherwise use the tame version.)

But this little misunderstanding shows how any mod - including a sex mod - takes work, dedication, scripting.. Otherwise unintended results may make it worse 

So I'm against wanting Bioware or other gaming companies to spend time and money planning and doing this stuff. I'm not a prude and I have no problems with the human body or with sex. But "happy corpses" and other unintended stuff make adding anatomically correct bodies a lot of work to do it in a way that wouldn't be cringe worthy. I'd rather gaming companies spend time and money on story, combat, level design, scenery, etc...

Naked breasts and ass is my limit. Anything more than that and we're entering the realm of pornography, which while I'm not averse to I just don't want to see it in video games. I think The Witcher 2 is a good example of the sort of sex scenes that Bioware should attempt IF they are being bold.

While I think most of the sex scenes from Witcher and Witcher 2 were ridiculous, I still really like the way they ended up doing the bath scene with Triss and Geralt during Witcher 2. (You could even play with the angles a bit more to show a bit less and it would still be a very good love scene in my opinion.)
