If you could take the combat system of any other game and integrate it into DA:I...

Personally, I would have loved to use a little modified version of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare in DA:I, except with magic and such.
I always imagined that it would have been so frigging AWSUM to just go right up into a Darkspawn's face before you sliced its head off, and blood flew everywhere as the Darkspawn backed away, reaching for its head before collapsing.
Going into the heat of battle with your allies, slicing and cutting everything! Or fighting a dragon... BADASS!
Just imagine it in DA:I xD

In terms of sword fighting, I've never liked a combat system better than Assassin's Creed. So that.

I killed a whole outpost of English soldiers.
One would attack, I would retaliate, kill him, and another one would step in while the whole rest of the army waited kindly in line like a bunch of idiots.
I was like "I'M JUST ONE PERSON, DOGPILE ME ALREADY!"

None of this happened in AC1, although it was still admittedly an easy combat system to master.

AC is just about timing though. Not a good combat system for rpgs. Especially party based rpgs.
Yeah for sure I didn't mean to say that it would fit in DA at all, my mistake for being unclear. If I had to implement another combat system, it's probably be Dragon's Dogma like many have said. I think they did a great job with that system.

What class did you play?mosesarose wrote...
Dragon's Dogma. It has the best combat systems since Shadow of the Colossus. It has a great pace to it and the amount of player involvement is wonderful. If BW integrated this with DA strategic layout , I think it could be really fun. Fighting dragons in Skyrim or any other RPG can't beat how you fight a dragon in DD. Screw hacking at it's feet when you can jump on it's back and beat it in the head.
Edit: How you really fight a dragon

Hybridization of classes is neat, but not my top priority. I'll be happy as long as the starting classes remain fairly distinct from each other. My biggest gripe with DA:O was how shortchanged the Rogue was compared to the other classes.
