I'm finally moving on to Awakenings. I've decided to make an Orlesian warden my first time through. I'd like to make an Arcane Warrior. Every build I can find are from Origins and I doubt I can find the same equipment in Awakenings. A lot of people favor an AW/BM build, but Blood Mage is not available to me; so I think I'll be going AW/SH.

What Awakenings only equipment should I hunt for?
I'm planning on starting with max coercion. What is the minimum cunning I'll need to pull it off?
I am playing on the PS3, not PC, so I can't just throw anything I want into my game. (Not that I would want to. I prefer to use what they provide for me and not cheat. Even if it is just importing stuff from Origins in.)

16 CUN for Coercion I believe.

Also, you are going to get 2 new schools in Awakening, Keeper and Battle Mage. I would recommend using those instead of SH as one of your group is a SH unless you dont plan on bringing him.

And the great thing about Awakening is that if you screw up, you can actually by books to reset your stats so you can do it again.

Will 16 cunning succeed all coercion checks?
Do you get anymore Specialization points or just the two you start with?

For Origins and with maxed Coercion, yes. For Awakenings you'll need around 25-30 iirc. It's been a while.

You get get one at 7, a second one at 14 and a third at 22 (Awakenings only).

In origins, the only need of coercion i had was to convince the soldiers at the brothel in Denirim to leave, so i would get more missions from the commander, for this i needed 2 coercion points.

It depends on how you plan to use it.

Maxed Coercion for a mage gives you both an additional talent from the Desire Demon and allows you to have a happy ending for Connor. Generally speaking, maxed Coercion guarantees that  you get higher rewards from quests (in particular the Precious Metals quest).

The latter is important since almost all the best gear in the game is sold, not looted. If you plan on buying all the attribute/skill/talent books and all the best gear (Reaper's Vestments, etc) then getting better rewards not only allows you to buy the best stuff, it also allows you to buy them earlier.
Curiously, unlike most Bioware games, the total gold you can earn in Origins is limited unless you cheat or use exploits. It never becomes like Icewind Dale or Baldur's Gate, where at some point you can just forget that the stuff people sell in-game do have price tags.
