I haven't been able to play though a new game with the MEHEM, but you can bet I will be using it if I do another playthrough.  I did finally play Citidel last night and I find that it did wonders for restoring my positive impression of the Mass Effect games.  Citidel is upbeat, positive, and has perfectly bittersweet ending conversation, which as far as I'm concerned is a much better send-off for the trilogy.

So thank you to BioWare for the Citidel DLC, and to Mr. Fob for the MEHEM.

Agree completely.  The Citadel DLC is awesome and is the perfect sendoff.  That last scene of the Citadel DLC is so bittersweet and nostalgic, it gets me everytime.

The same is true for absolutely everything not shown in the game so any speculation or discussion beyond that should be too - such as your Synthesis waffle. So if anything can't be answered by sticking a clip on YouTube then it shouldn't be talked about here I suppose.

It's just Seival's love affair with all things authoritarian, dictating which topics belong in the ghetto. Apparently, there should be "camps" for people who are unprepared to ascend to the apex of evolution... The kind of fan BioWare are cultivating.

Which is why I'm thankful for the Citadel DLC + MEHEM.  It gives the happy ending that I like my games having to counterbalance all that sucks in life.

In my opinion, the whole endings, including both bioware made and fan made ones and the people's reaction to them is the subject. Well. Neither of us has the power to determine the fate of this thread, i think, so i'll not lose more time on this debate.

As for the thread itself, i personally don't like any of the original endings (but that doesn't mean that i will force my point of view to other persons). I'm happy that some persons found them great, as i'm happy for those who found their real ending for Mass Effect on the happy ending mod.

Then please, remove all MEHEM discussions/mentions from this thread, and remove MEHEM from the thread's name. If that will not be done, then the thread will travel to fan-fiction section (or will be closed) eventually, mark my words.

I'd pretty resigned myself to not playing ME3 again due to the trainwrekc that was the ending till i forced myself through another run with MEHEM installed. Thankfully MEHEM delivered an ending that was coherent, rewarding, compelling and left me with a renewed desire to re-play.

I was planning to never purchase Omega and Citadel DLC. But with MEHEM, I'm feeling good about the saga again. I just purchased Omega and Citadel last night, and they are downloading now (30% complete). I plan to start a new play through from ME1 starting today!!! This time I want everyone to live, to make it to my after ending Citadel party!

I am curious. What is a Synthesis Waffle?

I didn't stick around for the ending debates, because I didn't care. I loved the trilogy, easily my most played series for any campaign game, and probably all time since I quit Halo when Halo 4 came out.

Not so fast! Apparently it may well soon be possible for Xboxers to enjoy the MEHEM mod. Work in that direction is taking place and there is a thread on modding the Xbox at the ME Explorer threads.
