I have no problems with tattoos on women its the crazy that kinda puts me off.
Where is she "crazy" in your eyes?
P.S. I don't approve of her tattoos at all, but I forgive them...
Well the crimes of piracy, kidnapping, vandalism and murder, don't exactly add up to a sane personality. The difference being they will not kill you for looking at them funny, and in most cases they were either getting paid, following an ideology, or in the case of Garrus trying to make things better.TheMyron wrote...

She's also a psychotic murderer who kills people for fun, but everyone seems to forget that part. But it's ok because she looks like Sophia Loren.
Shepard can be the same kinda guy, and plus, Thane, Samara, Miranda, Wrex, Zaeed, and possibly Garrus are murderers too.
Jack really has some mental health problems and they aint going to be solved by one good lay from Shepard. Jack's change of personality in ME3 is really a immersion breaker for me because I just don't believe it.
First off, there was NO sex, plus, Shepard had a bit of a head-start thanks to Jack's previous boyfriend who proved his love for Jack via death swapping.
Thanks
I just banged me head off the wall because I facepalmed so hard.

What's next? Are we going to start questioning the moral parameters of jumping on too many toadstools in Mario Bros? Why are BSN members more serious than other gamers? I'd honestly love to know... why there's a bigger compulsion to pontificate and act like paladins, compared to say, GameFaqs or NeoGAF..

The same people that kill of the Rachni Queen in a heartbeat seem to get totally upset by Synthesis.
edit: holy mother of Spelling.

I'll give you a clue BSN had a war about her that spilt her fan group in two.

tbh does it matter, I'm bored so I come to to discuss something I'm interested in, at the end of the day I could care less about what we are discussing.StreetMagic wrote...

Well, bored is cool. If you're just wasting time, I can understand that. It's just odd how much ethics based discussion and judgement happens around here (not necessarily this subject. Many subjects). I'll just say that I think it takes away some of the "juvenile" fun I expect from games and gamers (and I say "juvenile", even though I'm a 30-something. There's a time to act like a kid. I think games are one of them).

It does get pretty funny when people get really serious, like any synthesis discussion gets and I just can't help but make it worse for fun.
I'll approve of that.

You don't know about the Miranda wars?
In the character discussion part of the forums one group of Miranda fans had an argument with another over what I don't know as I never went in there but the BSN mods ended up having to close the character discussion part of the forums. I'd loved to have seen it, it must have been hilarious.

About the Miranda wars: From what I understand, Miranda's fanbase turned to celebrity worship. They couldn't cope with the idea of a multiple-layered complex character, so half of them started saying that the ME3 soft Miranda is the real Miranda and the other, more orthodox group, kept going on about how the ME2 cold Miranda is the real Miranda. There was a lot of discussion of "inconsistency", because apparently characters have to be written like runes - carved in stone with no curves and only straight cuts.
It's ridiculous when you think about it, but it just goes to show that dynamic characters will never please a static audience.

I don't like how Jack has absolutely no regrets for her violent lifestyle choice. As for "prettiest face", that's hardly an objective statement. Finally, it's just too little chemistry between Jack and Shepard, they have a competition of who is more traumatised and since my main Shepard refuses to be a victim any further romance with Jack is strictly OOC.
Did you even play through it? There's specific lines about Shepard and Jack not letting themselves be victims.
I can understand it not fitting everyone's character though. Perfectly understandable. God forbid we ever have one option in these games.

To get to that point you have to try to impress Jack with how her trauma isn't as big as yours. Since my main Shepard doesn't acknowledge his traumas publicly, that would be OOC.

I played through it with my Failshep but Jack died in ME2 since I didn't upgrade the Silaris Armor. I was trying to see if I could tell Ash in the next game that Jack was dead when she'd go all "you've been cheating!"

No, you don't. It comes well before an official romance is triggered, right after you finish her loyalty mission. You just have to pick Renegade-ish lines. She says you're right, she's not going to be a victim like Aresh.
As for announcing trauma, I figured the game is trying to already force you to acknowledge them by having an Asari come into your head in the first game. I hate that about Liara. She gets too much easy access to Shepard. If I have trauma at all, I prefer shared experience. Something more human. Not mind reading. So Jack it is.
edit: Same applies to Ash somewhat.
I see Liara and Miranda in similar lights though. They're removed, privileged, but have a hobby of studying Shepard (a lot).

Look, this is turning into a waifu argument, I'd rather not get into it. I like all of the games' characters except Ash anyway, and Liara has a joint place with Tali as my fifth favourite squaddie. So enough is enough, okay?

That has nothing to do with Shepard though. You can just as easily tell Jack to deal with her issues without ever alluding to your own as traumatic.

It's not meant to be a waifu argument. I'm trying to focus on what you said about trauma. Don't wuss out on me now.
After the Aresh mission, it's exactly about Shepard relaying his own issues. She says "You don't know, Shepard"...
The Paragon response is "I do know", the Renegade is "Get over yourself. You're not the only one with a past.." It's self-referential.
Anyways, not trying to make it a "waifu" thing. Just pointing out where you're incorrect here.
As for trauma.. you can't escape from announcing it in one way or another. I don't necessarily like it either, but it pops up often during the series.
