Word is bond, that line melts my heart.

Even though I hate Jack.

<3

Definitely.  If someone said that to me when I was all apprehensive before my PT tests or university finals or something like that back in the day, I would have fallen in love in 2 seconds flat!

So you're mad at TRUTH.

I am not. I acknowledge this, but still it pops the bubble. D:

And yes, Jack in ME3 is HAWT. God. Much better than Miranda who only consists of ass and her Micheal Jackson face.

Still I prefer Tali. Just because...I dunno. I somehow do not consider Jack as a good LI due to her attitude. She is still cool, but....I don't know why exactly.

I hope your Shepard doesn't want sons to carry on his proud name, because I don't think Tali can provide.

Too bad there is no site for Jack like this one for Liara: http://social.biowar...ndex/11356269/1

Anyone have art for Jack and her offspring with Male Shep?

At least Jack would be one of the first to come for you once the Reapers are destroyed.

Her content in Citadel makes the main ending a bit more palatable. I haven't played a lot of other romances, but she's one of the least timid characters. The game needed that. I don't even talk to Liara anymore, just so I don't get her lame time capsule request. I don't like fatalism at all. Not in games, not in real life. Everyone is like Bill Paxton from Aliens.. "Game over, man! Game over!" But Jack is like Ripley or Vasquez (probably more Vasquez. Destroy Shep is more like Ripley).

Too bad Kasumi isn't available, I happen to like girls who are smart and very Japanese. I wouldn't describe her as "petite", not with those hips anyway.

Jack is insufferable in ME2, always ****ing and moaning, so I never did try to romance her. She seems much more likable in ME3 though.

I couldn't get past her hostility so wasn't motivated to pursue her romantically in ME2. Maybe to do with my interpretation of seeing her more as a damaged victim than a LI with regard to her exploitation by pretty much everyone she encountered.

That said, I watched the romantic pre-Omega 4 relay scene on You Tube, That scene when she finally succumbs to her painful feelings and the trails of mascara running in rivulets of black down her face was a powerful scene and nicely done by the BW team.

Symbolising her being able to purge the darkness and pain inside her through Shepard's intervention..

I really enjoyed Jack's character in ME3 and the progression of her story arc. I definitely fell a little bit in love with her during her reveal at Grissom Academy.

I see my own Shepard as having his own baggage, so it works out (depends on the origin stories though). It's just that hers is worse, and harder to get past. I don't see it as some white knight "rescuing" her so much as trying to help her cope in the best way I know how. The relationship is more written like that anyways, I think. She has lines like "Did you ever feel like you were alone, but find out you weren't?" They're peers.

I kinda like her hostile-yet-playful way of responding when Shepard says yes to that question.Image IPB

Jack's one of my favorite characters in the whole series, but I never thought her and Shepard made sense. My relationship with her was always more big brotherish.

I can see her with someone like.. Jon Snow. Or Cloud Strife. A straight man.

I think the voice acting is nice. The character design is hit and miss. The writing is ... well, not good.

I dunno, the writing of jack conveys alot of emotions so she isnt just a walking gun for you.

Forced emotion, yes.

With her over-the-top angsty past that had damaged her so much she lashed out and led a ife of crime, violence and killing. All of that quickly becomes a non-issue to the point where it takes less than one year for her to change from  former murderer to teaching kids while spending at least some time on a mission with more violence and killing.

But hey, all you really need is a pat on the head and someone inexplicably trusting that your violent outburts won't kill him or hurt the mission and you're gonna be fine.

Yes, awesomely written. Totally not marginalizing (and romanticizing) severe abuse and murder.

Whos to say that facing a suicide mission and coming out the other side intact doesnt change a person hmm. Not to mention that at the start she could rely on no one and by the end she had a full group of people who had her back.

I like Jack, she's a great character with an interesting backstory (...and Courtney Taylor did a fantastic job with the voice acting). But her romance arc is not my cup of tea.

If she had fewer tattoos and let her hair grow out, and stopped being so "woe is me", she'd be quite attractive. She did make some improvements in 3, though.

I like her as a buddy.

Some things can and do change people quickly. Of course, I've never killed anyone, and Jack, like most ME characters is larger than life in many ways.. but I did have a history with violence, gangs, crime and all that. And I had a big chip on my shoulder for awhile. And then... something dramatic happened, and I was literally tracking down people to apologize. Honestly, I became very boring and a complete dork (But for the better B)). It happens. I can only agree it doesn't happen often. Some of my friends died violent deaths or are serving life in prison. They didn't change.

One of the best written character, but I don't like her.
