Don't know that much about Platinum, don't care. I usually pick the Javelin or Valiant for casual runs, and am leaning to the Black Widow for rocket speedruns where you only need to kill lolGoons, Hunters and Phantoms.

I like the original widow. It forces you to be more accurate since you don't have a second shot.

Also I am biased towards a single shot sniper rifle.

I dunno. If you mean everybody voting for the Javelin (I did as well), I honestly think it's the coolest. It looks awesome. It sounds awesome. It's just a sexy little thing.
