"Funnier" class for each game in the Trilogy?

I know that "funny" is a very subjective topic so here's some details: I love to play "tactical" with powers and use 'em a lot... basically, it means that I find Soldier to be the most boring class ever.
What about the other classes then? I heard Sentinel is pretty funny in ME2 but I do not know much about ME1 (I'm a PS3 player so the game I played the most is number 2) while Vanguard seems funny in ME3 but quickly becomes boring and it's also pretty clunky to use in ME2.
So... have you got some tips for me?

In Mass Effect 2, Adept again. Sentinel has good damage powers and tech armour, but little in the way of tactical abilities. Walk up to a group of bad people, they shoot your tech armour to bits, the resulting shockwave stuns them, reapply tech armour and kill them at close range, repeat. Dominate is a nice bonus power for tactical play (creating instant flanking situations). Engineer can also be nice because of AI hacking and combat drone because of this.
In Mass Effect 3, the adept is easy mode because biotic explosions are too easily attainable. So here I'd say engineer, because AI hacking is lots of fun against cerberus turrets.
A playthrough I am doing right now is the shotgun infiltrator with cryo ammo. This is also really tactical. "Where do I move while cloaked to shoot someone in the face with my Wraith?". The infiltrator can also be tactical in the large outdoor areas of ME 1: "Where can I find a good sniper perch at 300+ meter distance?"

ME2 it is probably either Vanguard, but any number of CQB classes can be fun (Soldier, Engineer, Infiltrator, Sentinel...). Assault Armor Sentinel w/ Stasis is one of the most powerful classes in the game.
For 3 since you say Vanguard is boring, go a Cryo Sentinel and try to kill things with Tech Armor.

In ME1 you make entire rooms full of enemies float helplessly in the air. Turns the game into a skeet shoot, though that might get boring if you do it to much. But using Lift + Throw to toss enemies off outdoor maps never gets old.
In ME2 Adept can CC anything without defenses, so is godlike on Veteran and below. On Hardcore and Insanity you'll need to use squadpowers or weapons to strip shields, after which everything becomes your toy again. And Pull + Throw still sends enemies flying into the horizon.
In ME3, the focus is less on the CC aspects and more on biotic explosions, but those can be a lot of fun too. Making literally every enemy disappear in a blue bomb is just good fun.

Overall, it appears to me that Adept could be a nice choice for a "one class" Trilogy walkthrough... on the other hand, switching between Biotic and Tech classes sounds pretty funny indeed.
Either way, thank you all very much guys! (If someone else would like to add an opinion, everything helps anyway)

Adept + Assault Rifle: Using pistols and SMGs is boring. Put some firepower in your biotic explosions.
Infiltrator: If you want to explode heads, the funniest class in ME3 is the infiltrator, especially with the Black Widow.

I would recommend using adept if you are interested in seeing a class that really evolves through the three games. The sentinels lack of high level marksman in ME1 was a bit annoying, while the adept had the best of both worlds with the ability to throw stuff around the room one minute, and attain arguably the highest weapon DPS the next. You don't get much more tactical then the adept in ME2, having to use squad powers for defence stripping and all that.

Oh how i wish they kept hold of the old tech armor.

Unloading with a Tempest or Shuriken worked as well in ME2.
If I do another run through the whole thing I will go Soldier unless I am convinced otherwise.

Trouble is with the old ME 2 Sentinel is that the following powers were rarely used by me.
Cryo Blast
Overload
Warp
Throw
That is why my bonus power was an ammo power.
I brought Miranda for her warp and overload.
When I played Sentinel in Mass Effect 2, all that happened was that I kept getting overwhelmed, the tech armor detonated, then I re-applied the tech armor only to have it detonate 2 seconds later. So I was basically playing the Mass Effect 1 immunity spamming soldier. Shotgun became my chosen power.
In Mass Effect 3, sure my tech armor didn't have a funky detonation (still quite potent), but I began to play the sentinel how I wanted to play the sentinel. A psudo adept with overload and the occasional cryo blast. My lift grenades got used every now and then.

I like what I'm reading, so ladies and gentlemen we have a winner: Adept all the way, my only regret is that I won't be able to use my beloved Mattock in ME2 but, after all, no one can use the Mattock except Soldiers in ME2 so I'll take what I can ge.t

For what I am understanding, the Adept is the way to go for what I have in mind. Using only that class through the entire Trilogy I will not only be able to see the class evolve but also to play "tactical" without resorting to Tech Armor spamming or less powers usage.

IMO, the caster Sentinel in ME2 is underused and underrated. Assault Sentinel is easier to play, probably my easiest play-thru ever, but the caster style is a lot more fun to me. Using Warp and Overload to strip all defenses and gunfire or Warp explosions to finish off, it hit just the right note for me as a hybrid class. Add assault rifle training to use a Vindicator and I was good to go. It was my favorite class for a long time, before I really got into the Engineer.

By the end of the game you will, with the Advanced Weapon Training. Just pick "Assault Rifles" when asked to. I suggest using the HMWA VII or X in ME1, the Mattock in ME2 and the Harrier in ME3. That's what I did. I also picked Barrier in ME2 and Defense Matrix in ME3 because I liked the instant shield recharging of the Barrier from ME1. My Semi-tank Adept.
Have fun!

Oh yeah, the Advanced Weapon Training that you find the first time you're on the Collectors' Ship, almost forgot it! I'll take your word for ME1 but I think I won't be able to get Spectre gear very soon so the HMWA is fairly out of reach for now, while Mattock (ME2) and Harrier (ME3) were already on my must-use lists for sure.
Thank you!

Ha! I love those conversations. That one reminded me of the conversation in ME2 between a turian and a human discussing which weapons they were going to get. XD

A fine choice by OP. One final recommendation, don't take energy drain for your bonus power <_< biotic heracy ruins the damn lore...

FINALLY! A fellow caster sentinel enthusiest. You sir, know where the fun is atI only recently started with the caster sentinel in ME2 and it is already the funnest class to play at a low level IMO. I'm kind of glad I skipped the ME1 iteration though. I just don't know what I would have done without my expert marksman!
The defense-stripper is still my favorite build for the Senitnel in ME2, but the Cryo-Throw build is also a lot of fun. It plays a bit like an Adept in that your gun becomes your defense remover. Watching ice sculptures shatter is just good fun, and bouncing a frozen boss around the map is just priceless.
The ME1 Sentinel is quite a good class. Massive CC but weak firepower means a weapon bonus talent is the best fit for it. You should try it at least once.

I'm trying to get the best of both worlds with an AOE defence-stripper: opting for area overload with its weapon overheat mechanics for decent CC, and forgoing warp in favor of the bonus talent area reave with its potent barrier/armour damage and superior CC against unprotected targets. Combine this with power armor and raider passive to make up for the lower damage of the area evolutions and I've already got a pretty good build with another elven or so talent points to gain.
I'm probably going to choose assault rifles on the collector ship, but I don't really feel I need them that much having the locust and phalanx.
