The teamwork based community, lack of PvP hostility and massive character variety.

Edit: also cause it's so much fun to play as the mass effect aliens instead of boring ol Shep.

Insane amounts of fun. The variety of all the different kits, gear, ammo & armor mods allow for different playstyles and different challenges. I can't get enough of playing it.

On the other hand, I played a Gold PUG last night that wiped on wave 4; I had 45k and the other 3 guys combined didn't add up to my score. I wish I didn't run into games like that but I understand that it happens. At least we got paid.

For several reasons.

Because it's Mass Effect and I love the setting. Because I love horde-mode style co op multiplayer games. Also because the black widow is awesome.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried the MP out that it wasn't just some lame tacked on component added at the last second. It was a well developed game mode in and of itself and lots of fun to boot. The MP forum community is also one of the nicer communities out there.

The reasons are many, I don't think in my case there is any one specific thing, tried other games but they just do not have what ME does.

Super friends both M/F, it's a social time as well as having fun.

Helping people through higher levels is very satisfying to me, seeing them win, first extraction, having to carry a wave for the first time, seiing them grow, unlock that one item they wanted and yelling for joy.

The one thing I do not like is cheaters/hackers and yes they are on XB, after 4,000++ games I have a general idea what every kit/weapon will do, I see things in game that are simply not possible running a certain kit, I just leave after the match. Missle glitch is back, although I generally play with friends, I like to pug higher levels for the challenge, it's back in full force.

Edit: The overall age group in this game is pretty impressive to me.

Builds, classes, Races, to have fun with randoms, Upgrading stuff and so on....That's the Reason, why i like the MP so much.

Pretty much this. The rich ME backstory combined with horde mode and a community that is rarely seen at other MP games makes this game fun. Also playing with friends and ocassional lulz with pugs.

The tie in to the campaign gives it some meaning when first played. After that, the sheer amount of fun to be had is slightly addictive. Also, thankfully no PvP.

also to try out things like, executioner volus adept or geth spitfire volus merc. (both with drill rounds and geth scanner)

I enjoy the PvE gameplay as opposed to PvP. I also like having the Horde style matches integrated with objectives. The reward system is cool too, though I think it should be tweaked in the future installments to not be so random.

While the mp was fun I wish they could've expanded on the co-op

Like: the people I play with. Could be a boring game if you aren't with the right people who make it a riot. Also, those same people are phenomenal meat-shields and revivers.

Like: Mass Effect! Co-op! And it is just hilarious to ragdoll enemies in this game.

Dislike: Needing to unlock every item 10 times to get it at full effectiveness. Combined with the store system it can be really tedious to unlock new content.
