No, I disagree. My connection is slow everyday and while using anything that needs it. I live in an area where there's only middle-aged people and elders, who don't need the internet, or probably don't even know what it is. My house is 80 years old. I don't know when the asphalt was opened the last time (would assume 10 years ago), but i do know that it was before optical fiber. I have those old crappy copper cables. I also live in a detached house, so there's no big housing company paying for installing the new cables. However, in 2011, a new thing was invented called micro-trenching. I have high hopes it's only 2,000€. That's 98% cheaper than the older method.

Join and learn to play through it. Subjecting the whole team to your crappy internet is a D bag move.

I'd say join and experience the wonder of the 3-4 shot AT-12 Raider, but then again, playing the game off-host with a poor connection is often way more frustrating than fun unless you're okay with most of your powers not working, ops packs taking 3 seconds to trigger, explosions being difficult to trigger, and half of your shots not registering.

Im a bad host so I always join, its why I use almost never use vangaurds (cabal only)
Its gets pretty annoying fast when you keep joining game in progress on like wave 2.

I know the feel. I don't know how things on the countryside in my country, but i would think mine's pretty bad considering that I live in my country's capital. I probably tarted playing online in 2009 or something. Only realised a year ago that i am lagging. It feels pretty stupid when you're surrounded by people with 100mb/s or 200mb/s and you've got under 1mb/s.

Kinda sad that this game depends so much on whether you're lagging or not. I've enjoyed the hell out of this game so far, but I could've had so much more fun had I had a decent internet connection.

No one enjoys playing in laggy games, if you know you'll be a terrible host, for pitys sake don't host.

I'd probably just join other games but if we're talking the worst lag imaginable, I doubt I'd have fun playing...
