So I downloaded the patch which was apparently specifically designed to fix the problem a large portion of gamers (including myself) were experiencing wherein some (if not all) of the DLC achievements for the game were not "popping."
With the patch downloaded, I attempted to verify that the DLC achievement glitch had been resolved. It hadn't. I then loaded a save from a character which I knew had previously met the criteria required to complete the achievements. Still nothing. Finally I recovered my gamertag, loaded the game back up, and loaded a save from a different character than before which had met the achievement criteria as well. Still looking at nada.
I then preceided to download RtO, play all 15 minutes worth, and complete the criteria required to unlock the new 55th achievement. Tada, "In War, Victory" unlocked. 25 Gamerscore. Suprised, I checked to see if the other achievements had finally "popped." To my dismay I read "51 of 55."
Now for the record, When I view the individual achievements for Dragon Age: Origins, each of the achievements are visible and it says I have unlocked them all. When I back out of the individual achievements screen to the achievement per game summary screen, it shows me as having 51 of the 55 achievements. Xbox.com also shows that I only have 51 of the 55, however my Bioware account shows that I have all 55 xbox achievements and (for some odd reason) a few of the PC achievements as well. I can also verify that I never earned the gamerscore for completing the DLC achievments.
My question is this: Is anyone else experiencing the same problem I am wherein after having downloaded the patch, the DLC achievements still aren't working?

Try recovering your gamertag the loading your game; I've read that that makes the achievements unlock.

What has been addressed is that it fixed the achievements for many people. For the people that it didn't immediately fix, the only thing required was that they recover their gamertag.
That didn't work for me.
So slykatayama, where has the problem with the patch not fixing the DLC achievements even after recovering a gamertag been "addressed endlessly."

Did you try re-doing the DLC after recovering your account to see if that would make them pop? That's the only option left to you I'd imagine. Although maybe you did this after the title update had been pulled from live, I don't know if that would have an effect or not.

I'll give it a whirl. Thanks for the advice though, even if it doesn't work.

Maybe I got lucky, but I didn't even load a game up. I downloaded the patch, then let it load to the main menu and the 3 achievements I was missing popped right there. You must have had a problem on the EA profile page where your info wasn't correct or something, which is nothing you could fix. I just hope Mass Effect 2 isn't this buggy since I already pre-ordered the collector's edition.

I share your centement for ME2 considering I preordered 3 copies of the collectors edition. 1 from gamestop for Terminus, 1 from Amazon for Inferno, and 1 from D2D for the Incisor Rifle.
