Lol you're still going with that.

I really hope that doesn't happen. At least the "throw their hands up at console gaming altogether". At this point, why even care if Microsoft ends up utterly fails in the console market? There's other viable options out and coming down the line.

LOL I like a good conspiracy. It makes life all that much more fun.

And people bailing on Microsoft will likely just move to Sony, not PC gaming. But I'm not sure for how long. It will be a matter of time before more people just have their TVs hooked wirelessly through the computers anyway, integrating their computer, gaming and TV/movie watching into the same hardware. I don't see how much longer stand-alone consoles can really last. A decade? Maybe more?

Got the email for it earlier too. I'll be watching it. Maybe now that the next xbox will be revealed we will finally get some nice reveals of DA3 (and a definite release date).

I'd wait for E3 if you want DA3 news, which is 19 days after the Xbox Infinity reveal, apparently.

Infinity? Really? That's the name they are going with?

If thats the name they go with, I don't see the problem with it. I'm not gonna hate it for the sake of hating it.

Anyway, I'm judging that by something Microsoft posted somewhere, can't even remember where.

Most people believe the Nextbox will simply be called the Xbox. No numbers or longer names or anything.

We'll see.

I apologize for being a complete idiot but...what the hell does "always online" mean? It wont work offline anymore?

It means that you must be connected to the internet in order to play games. Therefore if you have slow internet or no internet, you will not be able to use the console if the next Xbox ends up being always online.

That's the thing I want clarified, if it's like Xbox Live, then that's fine, since I'm always online, but that doesn't influence whenever my game will be laggy or not, only if I concern myself with playing a MP game. Now, if it's required to play a SP and it has relevance to whenever or not the game will run smoothly because of my internet connection.... then we'll have a problem. Too be honest, I don't even think the new Xbox will even concern itself with quality exclusive games anymore. There will be the new Halos... what else, Fable? Forza?

Destiny > Halo. Calling it now. Fable multiplatform in 2014.

I seen the trailers for it, it did have the Halo feel, but the new Halo is expected to be another trilogy, so I don't see those two intertwining.

Xbox to have no exclusives by 2017. Semi-confirmed rumor.

From what I've heard, the discless Xbox 360 re-launch will be the always online unit, but actually not the next gen Xbox.

I really REALLY want a new Fable, so I'm hoping we hear something about that from post-Molyneaux Lionhead.

Cannot wait.

PD: All Xbox "exclusives" will be cross-platform with Windows 8 / Blue (only), mark my words.

Even if the always online thing is true, I don't think microsoft will say it directly...they will probably dance around it or not even mention it.

A rumored $500 price tag along with an uptick in game prices, PS4 included... this is getting silly and Nintendo and or another surprise console may have the last laugh this time around.

And now that game is no longer a launch-day purchase for me.

To be honest, it's pretty much what I expected. I don't know why anyone expected something different.:?
