Seriously. I started doing this a few days ago, and every day I run into so many BSNers. Just a couple days ago, I ran into Wolfsbladex. Today I ran into ClydeInTheShell. And there's a lot more instances that are out of my immediate memory.

I'm not criticizing or complaining, it's just funny how that works.

What's Reapers Gold? I've heard of Reapers Platinum but not Reapers Gold.

Do you only get two enemy factions with that?

I don't know. It's almost constant. ReapersReapersReapersReapersReapers. It's probably the easiest faction now too...

Pretty much. It's the Reapers faction, but they included the Collector "Husks" from Mass Effect 2 in the mix to spice things up.

This is probably it. I've noticed that whenever I play Reapers, nothing particularly "cheap" ever really happens. With Cerberus, Collectors, Geth... something's gonna be there to ruin my fun. But Reapers? Once every ten games, a Banshee teleports through a wall and grabs me. But that's it. 100 waves, and only in one of those 100 something cheap kills me? I'll take it over Phantoms doing that to me up to three times a game.

I would agree with that. Before Dragoons were added it was split between all three factions fairly well. 


People even played specifically against Geth back then.

Reapers are mostly fair (and easy) Cerberus is basically Dragoon/phantom spam which is no fun at all. Geth are annoying. Collectors are OK to me but I never see a lobby set against them.

Reapers are the most straightforward and least cheap these days.

I only search Reapers on gold because they are the easiest. When I go to gold, I mostly want the credits and a better challenge from silver, but I don't want to get myself into a match I know I couldn't solo if necessary.

I used to play nothing but Reapers Gold. Don't know why I switched back to U/U/G a couple months ago since the other 3 factions often make me rage.
