PC guy here, when I play Gold, I normally do the first match against Reapers, as a kind of "warm up". Like people say, they're pretty consistent and "fair" to play against.

I don't mind rolling U/U/G with a good team, though.

Collectors for obvious reasons.

Geth for obvious reasons.

Cerberus can be a pain for host unless he brings an acolyte on every single class.

Personally, I go unknown though.

I usually host, so Cerb is already out the window. Nobody likes Geth. And I'm not PUGing against Prollectors.

oddly enough, i couldn't fill a lobby set for reapers yesterday.
i can usually fill one like this inside of 5 minutes.
so for fun i dialed the clock back and went FBWGG. lobby filled INSTANTLY (even now).
i was loling as the pugs dropped like flies. only one other player could help me clutch the waves.

I've been using Reapers for PuG fishing, but I've been told by you and Mus7ang that Geth works better. I'm going to try that next time. Which will be tomorrow.

I did some brutal math numbers

me: 6 (amount of times i died) *1.9 (damage output) = 11.4 (multiplier for kills)
you: 1 * 1.5 = 1.5

my score: 20k * 11.4 = 228k
my score: 20k * 1.1 = 30k

It seems that the more you go down the more you score

just make sure you're ready to nuke primes before the pugs get mowed down...
can't believe FBWGG still works to fill lobbies. it's actually one of the harder combinations on gold for pugging.
cheap ass geth.

I'm on PC and normally play U/U/G, but I'll avoid matches that are set to Geth.

I've given up on gold and plat against all factions unless I'm with friends. Way too much BS, and it just makes it a pain.

The combos i see alot when I go into public games are reapers on giant, geth on glacier and reapers on rio. If a person has it set to colelctors before hand, some hazard maps or condor I usually find another lobby.

Reading BSN the consensus seems to be that the reapers are the easiest faction. Beyond that I guess people have map preferences; I'd rather roll the dice and have a surprise every game unless I'm doing some sort of challenge. Not to mention that since I'm still promoting, the extra XP bonus from playing random map & faction comes in handy.

When I PUG Gold I mostly get U/U. With a Cerberus/White or Reapers/Unknown.

But whenever I play with atleast one friend, we do U/U. Unless they need like a few waves for a map mastery, or they want to use a Melee kit we put it on Geth..

Weird, I'm not getting Hazard Dagger almost at all. All I'm getting is Collectors Hazard Glacier and Geth Condor.

Probably cause they're the easiest, or at least they feel like it anway. Like other people have said cheap crap almost always happens with the other factions. Reaper's feel the most fair to play against.
