If you're facing the Ravager and you hit the front sac it has a better chance of double hitting, iirc.

There's a baby on board!

Op, not cool bro.

Ardat Yakshi can't form babby, let alone giant anorexic robot zombie version. :P

Not all Banshees have been Ardat Yakshi. The Reapers only prefer to use Ardat Yakshi because of their strong Biotic powers.

You forgot geth pyro's fuel tank. Other than that it's an awesome diagram that would help many people.

Is it wrong that I enjoy stuffing my Javelin's rounds into Banshees' and Phantoms' butts even though there's no bonus damage?

I read somewhere on these forums that the atlas rear exhaust fans are not actually a weakspot. Devs apparently intended this initially but it wasnt implemented. Has anyone tested? Peddro?

Also, ravagers don't have weak points. That head thing is an urban legend, nothing more. Probably related to the fact that it's the place to aim to get the double/triple/quadruple hit on them.

That is effectively the same thing as being a weak point.

Maybe what you're trying to say is if you want to kill Ravagers faster you should shoot them there but make sure you're using piercing mods/ammo.

Pyro and Engineer added. Prime removed. Was anyone ever really confused about the Prime anyway? Ravager headshot downgraded to yellow. Atlas canopy targets clarified. Exhaust Port location hopefully better illustrated. I CBF trying to get a screenshot of the Atlas from behind, so that's as good as it gets.

After the amount of times those crazy murderous women have forcefully penetrated you, injecting your hot ferrofluid into their rear ends seems like fair play.

question: Headshot dmg have been known to not give you extra dmg vs boss mobs before. I've read that somewhere and heard it several times.

Especially banshees. Brutes even too. Banshees are much more prone to dmg when shot in the chest. I've tried this and seen it drain much faster than anything else?

This seems odd, compared to what you are showing in pics.

Bosses get an unmodified 1.4x damage multiplier to headshots.

Mooks get an unmodified 2.5-3x damage multiplier to headshots. (Unmodified value is weapon dependent.)

The best way to test boss headshot bonuses is with a high powered, highly accurate weapon. You should easily see the extra damage by just looking at the bar count. Yes, there was a time where BioWare took away headshots on bosses but it was returned. That information can be found in the balance changes.

At release, Primes (and maybe Brutes?) could be headshot like any normal enemy. Banshees and I guess Ravagers took no extra damage from headshots.

Later, the Kishock came along, and did its full 3x damage to anything with a head, including Ravagers and Banshees which didn't even give headshot bonuses normally. Videos started floating around of people oneshotting Brutes and Ravagers with it, and making short work of Banshees.

Some time after that, all headshot bonuses against bosses were removed. I think this had more to do with people farming FBWGG and murdering the crap out of Primes too quickly, than the Kishock silliness though.

Then eventually headshot bonuses for all bosses with an obvious head (except Ravagers, apparently?) was put back into the game, but capped at 1.4x damage only. And that's where we are now.

And thus ends this half remembered probably flawed sort of history lesson.

Sure is, it's something a fool would have in his sig.

You ought to drop by the stream again sometime, dude.

OP: Excellent work with the diagrams, I'd definitely pass them out to new kids.

No it's not.

Weak points get a flat 1.4X modifier which stacks additively with any debuff, and let you apply bonuses like targeting VIs or rank of the passive.

This nets a 2X, 3X, 4X overall modifier which multiplies debuffs too, and doesn't let you apply those kinds of bonuses.

Doesn't the top window(above the canopy) on an Atlas hit 3 times...? Pretty sure it does. (There is a thread on bsn somewhere)

Spine/ass on a Brute the weakest spot...? Pretty sure it is.

In single player ME3 we learned (somewhere?) to shoot the Atlas thru the glass to hit the "driver." We also learned that the spine area on the back of the brute was a weak spot.

Well, shooting the glass on the Atlas to kill the guy inside never works in multiplayer (glass never breaks).  Too bad -- a neat mechanic!  So, don't know if hitting the brute's spine from the back is any more effective?  Granted, on the brute's backside the spine is quite a large area so most shots would go there anyway.

As far as I know, the spine yields no bonus damage. But it does happen to be a large, unarmored area that's fairly easy to hit no matter where the Brute faces. So it's a good spot to target anyway.

SP also said Brutes were great tacticians due to having Turian heads.

Not 100% sure but someone told me once the Banshee's boobs are a weak point.
