Who in the hell shoots a Brute or Atlas in the knee's? There as big as a truck.
As for the Banshee yes you can shoot them in the gut cause it's stable but for more
experienced shooters i suggest aiming for the upper chest if you aren't sure you can
hit the head. That way if you are using a full auto weapon you might plant a few on her
lovely face.

Simply put always aim for the face and if it don't have a face shoot the thing that is starring
at you.

Nice! But when you pop a Ravager's sacs, does the fleshy green area behind that cause extra damage as well? I read that somewhere, but I can't remember if it's true or not.

With atlas, i usually just shoot it in the junk till its tighty-whiteys fall off, then it goes down in 3 shots from my crusader...

Ah, that makes sense. I played the game for a few months after it came out, then moved on to other titles and stopped playing for like 9 months. I remember reading/seeing/something-ing before I left that Banshees took no extra damage when shot in the head so it was better to just aim for center mass.

Yes, but the more powerful the weapon the easier it is to see the results. All bosses have a 1.4x damage modifier from headshots.

Query : does anyone know if you can shoot through the front of an Atlas and score a vent shot with enough AP? Similar to how you can shoot a Cannibal in the back and splatter their head with penetration . . .

Something that the OP missed is the Brutes other weakpoint.

If you plant a few rounds into its stomach, the armor plate will be destroyed revealing its glowing blue intestines. Shooting those deals a lot of extra damage to the Brute.

Im not sure but I think if you aim through the barrel of a turret itll cause some extra damage, I alway try to do this but obviously at a distance it cant hit me from or a focused quick shot while it is cooling down after its barrage
