 How do I get the most out of Defense Drone for my Engineer? I'm waffling on whether to choose Incapacitate or Chain Lightning for Rank 6. Is 5m range good enough as is, or does it really need increasing to see the power truly shine?

 The purpose of defence drone in an engineer build is to provide point defence and the possibility of "stun locking" foes in close quarters. The spec recommended by me and many of the "SP wizards" like RedCaesar is as follows:
range, attack rate, chain lightning. 

While the knock down evolution is nice, it only procs 30% of the time and it can be is far more beneficial to opt for the ability to stun multiple opponents with the chain lightning evolution. I would highly recommend you use the defence drone in tandem with the combat drone and sentry turret! I can not stress this enough. By themselves, each of these powers are somewhat mediocre, especially the defence drone. When combined together thought, they give the engineer the ability to move almost unhindered across any arena, locking down the battlefield with the greatest of ease.

Just a note to anyone unearthing this thread, the Attack Rate evolution of Defense Drone is bugged. The Attack Rate evolution is supposed to increase the attack rate by 50%, instead it actually decreases the attack rate by 50%.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm currently playing a drone master engineer and had opted for the attack rate evolution. Guess I'll be changing that then.
