By this i mean say the fact that shep kept using pistols he did not have with him or that I have to wait for Liara's door to open when every other door on the ship is fine

The gun cutscene thing is weird. Sometimes Shepard will be using the gun I equipped, the rest of the time it will be the Predator or that peashooter.

I'm not too fond of the guy that walks in circles and stops and stares when he's near you. Actually, I don't think that's him, but when other people are walking by and then they stop near you and stare.

Staring contest. Every goddamn time.

Also, the Reaper-Dreadnought fight at the very beginning itched me. Those could fire at eachother for a day until I pass that line.

-That scanner-thing between the CIC and War Room.
-The magic Avengers when Shepard/squadmates already have an assault rifle on their backs.
-People's heads turning 180 degrees in cutscenes or ambient conversations. The most glaring examples are with Shepard when (s)he's talking to Mordin after Wrex leaves the medbay ("... Or [fear of] Salarian doctors") and after talking to Garrus near the cockpit after the Tuchanka arc.

1. The weird neck turn (that looked like it's been snapped) had a weird cutscene once where Shep has this convo with Adams, Ken and Gabby, ALL FOUR of them talking while their necks are twisted. Weird. And creepy.
2. Does the journal count?

That comes back to something I have believed since NWN's, triggered spawns are bad.

OT:  "Grab your gear" on the way to Mars, but no gear selection screen, despite standing right at the weapon bench...

The journal is a big problem like auto dialog and cutback choices

The rank system was incomprehensible, the stop and stare guy, the monosyllabic Williams (the rare times I had her onboard), the fact that I couldn't ream the council's backside for their stupidity, the fact that Shepard allows Williams to get away with her bad behavior, no side mission tied to the main quest (i.e. no strikes against the Reapers back lines), the fact that something was alluded to with Parasini in ME2 and never explored in ME3, and the fact that never did I get to rescue personnel from the Reapers a' la Grissom (you get a distress call from a planet under assault and you have to go and rescue key personnel and face choices like do I rescue the scientist who knows x or do I rescue these 200 or so hostages).

Lastly, infiltration wasn't as big of a problem as it should have been. It should have caught you unawares, fouled up some of your plans, revealed a turncoat and an inopportune time, etc. Sure, Cerberus was indoctrinated, but that is a very tiny slice of the 'verse.

I could be wrong, but the MP Geth saying "cover us" felt wrong. It's not a damn hanar. "Cover this platform", maybe?

The geth in MP says, "Cover this one," if I'm not mistaken. Still sounds like a hanar though. "Cover this unit," or "cover this platform" would have been more appropriate, you're right about that.

And yes, the "Grab your gear" before Mars, but no gear selection screen annoys the crap out of me too. Presumably it's that way because on your first playthrough you probably wouldn't have anything to switch to, but nonetheless, for subsequent playthroughs, or people who had the N7 weapons, it's a pain.

I didn't take issue with the omni-blade for biotic Shepards. Technically everyone has an omni-tool, and all omni-tools have the omni-blade functionality, so really any Shepard could do it. And it's apropo to stab Kai Leng as an "eye for an eye" for Thane. Just my two cents on that.

And the Predator/Avenger cutscenes bother everyone.

I get made fun of for these, but:Turian blood is the wrong color in the cut scene during the Tuchanka bomb mission, and I miss having an elevator on the Normandy that actually opens. It's a small detail, yes, but I feel like it was a nice touch in ME2.

Also, what's the point of the robotic dog in the CE? He doesn't actually do anything other than wonder around the cargo bay. If they were going to put him in there, you'd think they'd at least make it so that you could teach him tricks or play fetch or something.

The presence of computer screens on the geth dreathnought. Why would the geth waste time reading?

.

Another pain is when you finally do get to switch weapons and find that the one you switch to doesn't work on Dr. Eva.

My most hated glitch is getting hung up on the Normandy's cockpit geometry. Especially since I tend to talk to EDI just before doing a new mission, so I end up having to replay a bunch of convos.

This is now aobut the 20th time I've posted this.

I've read one too many threads asking about the "bug" of Shepard and the team wielding the wrong weapons in cutscenes, and wondering when it will be "fixed", if ever.

I'd just like to point out this isn't a bug. It never has been a bug. It's somewhat of a shortcut to avoid tackling a very difficult problem.

Also, like many issues of the sort, people seem to think this kind of thing is exclusive to Mass Effect. Here's a list of other well known games that do the same thing:

Halo
Gears of War
Uncharted
Resident Evil series
Metal Gear Solid series
Saints Row
Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City
Army of Two
Ninja Gaidan
Final Fantasy series

And obviously dozens and dozens more. In fact, the only games I know of that avoid it are games that simply avoid cutscenes that are third person, such as the Call of Duty series and Bethesda games.

Glad we got that cleared up.

No Parasini, I keep thinking the mission to rescue Gace Sato should have been where we met Parasini... unromanced MaleSheps could get a nice cutscene after the rescue, or some funny dialog if your LI is on the mission

Yeah, he clearly should have been wearing full armor and a helmet, instead of, I don't know, kid's clothing...Image IPBImage IPB

Haha, yes, I know it's nitpicky, but it really does bug me! It's the hoody thing. And draw strings. I don't see drawstrings on any other piece of civilian clothing.

There aren't any other kids to compare to, but still...

- the elevator on the Citadel. why is it always so friggin far .
- Citadel duties too concentrated together.. it becomes endless : Aria's deals, meeting friends all over, going to the hospital. I would have preferred to go more often for shorter times.
- the scan exiting the conference room
- they did that in the other games but getting thrown into a fight which you have to interrupt to equip ammo, map keys etc. It just feels wrong .
- missing the me2 claymore reload cancel ;p
- love scene prior to Cronos, after they're done and Shep sits on the edge of the bed after " are we going to make it..", he turns around and the neck looks too long , thin , head out of proportion... gah.

but all those are minor irritants, but they make me go *sigh*
