I started it up a 2-hander.dwarf female noble(yeah I'm not finishing up my games , anyways) I seem to be swinging slow and missing alot.. I've never used precise striking but it would seem to be a good idea to me at least at lower levels of a playthrough.
If I get it how long should I use it, level wise?
Does it affect sunder arms? I'm thinking I should switch off precise striking when i get sunder armor to preserve my stamina pool, yes? But I think I'm just about to get sunder armor the next time I level but I think I'll try out precise striking just for the heck of it.

I have another question for 2-handed warriors. I was thinking of getting all strength up to 40 than going 1 strength 2 constitution or 1 strength 2 dex. I hear that dex increases attack and if I have the choice between constitution and dexterity I should get dex. But I only have DAO with only the stone prisoner dlc so It isn't very much difference between the two so I think I might as well get Constitution.

I could use Sunder armor with precise striking if I stop using Mighty Blow. You think that's a good idea?

I think I will go all Strength until I get to 42 than 1 Stength 2 Dexterity. The Dexterity adds attack argument seems to make sense but I still don't know when to use indomitable and precise striking.

From a damage dealing point of view, going full strength would be optimal for a two hander. But it's upto you; throwing a few points here and there won't hurt.
Imdomitable provides stun and knockdown immunity and +1 flat damage bonus, so I'd keep it sustained throughout the game.
Also I like to keep precise striking on all the time, as I generally like to use abilities and since they are not affected by attack speed, the autoattack duration hardly comes into picture. By level 25, precise striking grants a net critical chance of 15%, which is awesome if you are focussed on crits.
The last time I played a 2 handed warrior, I had a lot of sustainables turned on at all times by mid to endgame, namely - precise striking, indomitable, powerful swings, berserk and blood thirst. Even then I never ran out of stamina - stamina bonus per level, +X attribute gear, bonus from CG Maul, death blow stamina return, Wynne casting rejuvenation, mass rejuvenation and spellbloom, that is more than enough stamina that I can humanly use in a single encounter.

Precise Striking seems like a pretty good talent. Do you use it with a Sword and Shield Warrior?
I usually don't have money for good equipment by the way.

Yes, I do. I like to stack up critical chance.
Regarding gold, I agree that it can be a bit of scarce, especially without the DLCs. You can use crafting to stockpile gold, if you don't mind exploiting.

As an aside, Wynne is pretty invaluable for a 2-Hander. Between her rejuvenation spells and Haste, she really helps overcome the class' weaknesses. Never leave camp without her.
As for Precise Striking, it's good for the early levels. But once you've pumped your strength a bit, you can afford to throw the odd few points into dex which should help with your accuracy, and then it's not really necessary. Constitution is always a waste on anyone other than Shale and Dog.

Any of my 2H use it from when it's acquired (at like level 3 or 4) up until slaying the archdemon. It's excellent for 2h, OK for SnS and pretty bad for DW.
You don't need the attack bonus at high levels, but up to +15% crit chance is amazing (especially with stunning blows), and most of your damage comes from talent spam which isn't affected by the attack speed penalty.
At above, I never found either of those spells particularly useful for a 2H. Death Blow keeps your stamina high, and haste only affects your autoattacks, which are (or at least should be) rarely used. Boss fights are the exception to this, but apart from the high dragon/flemeth/archdemon they'd usually go down before I was forced to resort to autoattacks - and I kept willpower at base.

It can actually be really, really good for DW because it allows you to stack Momentum with Haste without passing the cap.dainbramage wrote...
