I did my first runs with Legion members last night and we successfully extracted on Platinum each run! I will be filling spots for my plat runs from Legion IRC nightly from now on so if you want to join in I'll see you there. (Origin ID Stekatos)

 

Yo buddy, its OK to play something besides Glacier/Reapers or Glacier/Cerb on Plat.

console palyers are welcome too, but they never really bothered with irc. We do still have lists of console players, tho ye need to add them yourself if ye want to get more allies.

many do, we even have a ts3 server for those who have trouble with ingame chat.

It really was my to-go place when I looked for an enjoyable game. Seeing quite a lot newcomers, it really is a great place for them to look for teammates.

To be honest I've had quite a hard time to connect to IRC for the past months. Most of the time, on the screen that tells you "You've been using IRC for X days...", I have the choice between "register" and "exit" and no option to "continue" like I used to always have.

yea the new versions of mIRC don't let you use it after 30 days, so ye can either get a pre-7.2 version of mirc or try out the other alt programs like KVIrc or hexchat (links in OP)

Yeah.  I downloaded an IRC program for the first time since 13 years ago for Legion Effect.  I suppose that is an endorsement.

I almost forgot a bug I found.

When I typed !lolreegar it didn't give me weapon stats for some reason.

A dedicated irc client is a better solution imo. looks better, works better, you can customize it for your own need. You need no web browser and It consumes so little resources, that you can basically let it rot in the background forever.
