Reapers everywhere destroying worlds, but ... the fish, man! The FISH!

On my current ME2 game, I'm going to make a point of getting all the fish, ALIVE, through the Omega 4 relay. All the crew, yes. But also all the fish. Every single fish.

**** the crew save the fish

Let everyone die

ME1 kill one of the VS, kill Wrex
ME2 kill everyone except Miranda and Tali
ME3 kill the other VS, save geth only to kill Tali, don't warn Miranda so KL stabs her, low EMS destroy ending so EDI dies and take Liara/James with you during the final run, never save Javik

The only survivors will be those fish

Not gonna work Fros...when the Normandy crashes the fish will die. You can't save them. The Piscene Reaper is coming for them.

don't you dare tell me what I can and can't do with my bloody fish

if I want them to plot a mass relay jump into the andromeda galaxy they will do that because that paddlefish is a wizard or some ****

I always felt a little weird about bringing animals of any kind on board a ship that, given its missions, probably stands a decent chance of getting blown up at any given time. I did buy a space hamster with my canon Shepard after the suicide mission last time around, but even then, I'd have thought she would probably try to leave it somwhere safer after finding it again in ME3. Plus, how does it (a) escape and (B) survive while wandering around the Normandy for six months?

So when it comes down to it, we're all chiefly concerned with getting our fish fed?

Hence dropping 25k on a special fish tank in ME3 ...

It was the first thing I bought on the Citadel in ME 3 on my last playthrough.  Image IPB

I never used the dog companions in Fallout 3 or New Vegas for this reason... At least we aren't taking our pets into combat.

Yep. Dogmeat ends up hanging out with the robotic butler in my Megaton house after I find him - he seems to think he can kill giant radscorpions and the like by charging at them and biting them if I let him out.
