Not unless they let you build him/her up from scratch with his own DLC or something.

I'd be okay with it, provided I got to pick the dialogue options for all of them. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey actually had something like this. There are 3 PoV characters, and at one point two of them meet face-to-face, and the player selects dialogue options for both of them as they carry out a conversation.
My main issue is with face import. New engine + altered elves may not be kind to my Dalish Warden. Ideally they'd allow us to recreate them in the CC, but a helmet/preset option seems more likely, if they even appear and aren't simply bodiless voices from the shadows.

I tentatively approve the Leliana's Song Character Focused DLC option. I envision something like, the Inquisitor goes to a new location and tracks down journal pages, each of which triggers a playable flashback with Hawke to resolve his/her story
