Not asking for suggestions, just opinions. Do you stick with the default or create your own? Common modern day names or medieval?

Hehe I used to medievil ones, then modern - but never ordinary names.
Now I mix it up between Japanese/Japanese-esque names and names that would have something to do with the build, or class, or maybe even look.

So the current (2nd last playthrough, rogue) character was named Asuka.
Valliant was my previous character (random)
Snow was one of my characters (had white short hair)
Blade or Bayonetta/Vendetta (can't remember think it was former) was another one of my rogue's names.
Called my DAO char 'Krakus' inspired from the volcano(?), Krakatoa. Just because it sounded 'medievil' or older at least.

Like if I was to choose another name for this current avatar that I have in my display pic (my first dao char I think) I'd choose Crimson, because of his hair. Or something crazy like "Zap" cos he's a mage lol xD

So have fun! But don't be like me and get too carried away, (you probably spend too much time coming up with a new look for your Hawke too I bet xD ) don't spend too long thinking of a name - hopefully you've thought of one already.

The default names for the most part. For male characters i draw inspiration from various places the late Ormond Adare Haydon-Baillie, who was a pilot with RCAF. Or Torquil which was the first name of the boss of Bluebird toys. But these only get used when more than one version of the PC exists.

I simply named my main Hawke Konner. Different spelling to be different than the kid in DA:O.

'Lover of hounds' felt extremely fitting for a Fereldan, y'know...

Jeff Hawke, but you have to be a certain age to get that reference. Unlike Hudson Hawke as mentioned earlier.

Yeah, not my fault for not knowing a character from another country that stopped running 10 years before I was born.:D
