Hello at everyone! I know there are loads of great guys and girls here who are big fans of DAO, and I am assuming there are alot of rpers here too! My friend has recently created a DAO rp forum and I helped a bit lol, and its finished. Its only just started and we haven't got many members yet, but this could be your chance to come and get your favourite!! Or if you want, create your own character. We are looking for intermediate+ rpers, or even some beginners who are around the intermediate mark too, and we are hoping it goes well! :D Heres the site plot for everyone to have a quick read if they want, and if ya interested, feel free to visit the forum and sign up at: http://thedarkpromis...s.com/index.cgi

Site Plot

Eight years ago, The Grey Wardens Aedan Cousland and Alistair gathered an army fought to heart of the blight, which then encompassed Denerim, the capital city of Ferelden.

Before the battle, Riordan, a fellow Gray Warden from Orlais, had informed the younger Wardens of the price of slaying the Archdemon. The Warden who struck the final blow would have the Archdemon's essence transferred to his body. This would cause both entities to be destroyed.
Unbeknownst to Alistair, Cousland and the witch Morrigan conspired in secret to devise a way out of the inevitable death one of the Wardens would face. Morrigan offered the younger Warden a deal, The two of them would conceive a child, which would bear the darkspawn taint, which all Grey Wardens carry, while it was in the womb. At the moment of the Archdemon’s death, it’s essence would be transferred to the unborn child. Knowing that Alistair would insist on sacrificing himself for his friend, and that Ferelden needed a king. Cousland reluctantly agreed.

During the battle, Riordan fell attempting to slay the archdemon, leaving the deed up to Alistair and Cousland. Along with their travelling companions, the Wardens fought to the roof of Fort Drakon, through scores of Darkspawn and eventually confronted the Archdemon on the Fort’s roof. After an arduous battle with the tainted old god, Alistair was able to land a killing blow on the Archdemon. To his amazement, he survived.

Sometime after the battle, Aedan revealed the reason behind Alistair’s survival. Alistair was furious, and the revelation caused something of a rift in the Wardens friendship.

After the Blight was defeated, Aeden Cousland took to adventuring Ferelden, sometimes with his companions, but never with Alistair. Five years after the Blight was defeated, Aeden fell while adventuring in the Deep Roads.

Alistair was crowned King of Ferelden, with his uncle, Arl Eamon acting as his advisor. The formality of ruling conflicted greatly with Alistair’s personality, but his sense of duty compelled him to stay on the throne. He travelled often during his reign, becoming loved by the public, who dubbed him, “The King with the common touch.”

Morrigan erected a reclusive hut deep within the Korcari wilds and raised the child there. One day, an unusually large band of Darkspawn, which had been roving the land since the defeat of the Archdemon, chanced upon the hut. Sensing the taint within the child, who was now eight years of age, they abducted him, burning Morrigan’s hut to the ground. Overwhelmed by their numbers, Morrigan was barely able to escape with her life.

The Darkspawn have since found a way, using Darkspawn magic, to fully taint the child, and now he acts as a proxy Archdemon gathering Darkspawn to its side, preparing for another Blight, less than a decade after the last one

Will Ferelden be strong enough to defeat another Darkspawn horde, so soon after the last one, or will it fall to the Blight?

P.S We do not take credit for any of the characters or anything DAO canon related.

As much as I like role-playing, I'm not so sure about the plot. Seems the same compared to the last one.

If you want to start an RP, start here, but don't come up with a story like that.

Also, the way you designed the board sucks, no offense.

Dear god, you have your moderators roleplaying the characters from the game.

P.S. Having a site based around just one ridiculous RP doesn't make it important. I'm sorry.
