What question, if I meant "fat" or "extra curvy"? Well, fat.

Also Admiral Kahoku, Kaidan Alenko, and Samantha Traynor.
Admiral Kahoku is Japanese, and Traynor and Alenko are biracial. Kaidan appears to be Hungarian and Japanese by way of Canada, and Traynor appears to be Anglo-Indian.
Maybe I should feel bad too, but if I'd had that option in a dialog, I would have had to take it...SinerAthin wrote...

heh, i actually wish we had a fat character in Mass Effect.
I'd love to go renegade with her and be all; "I'll call you when I run out of cover in my next firefight."
... I feel bad now

It can be either Hawaiian or Japanese.
In Polynesian it means 'the star,' in Japanese it is a surname derived from one of two places of origin. The first is a small city on the Western coast of Japan, the second is a small town in northern Honshu. Both are named Kahoku.

If you're going that route then, why the lack of african americans (to be politically correct)? If I remember right, Jacob, Ronald Taylor, Anderson, and Brynn Cole (I think) the only african americans in the entire trilogy. They show more asians than african americans in the trilogy. I might be forgetting a couple, but you get my point.
Are we going by voice actors or not?
You may as well add Ashley if we're.
Otherwise Anderson was born in london, can't speak for the others.
Also black is black.

So you'd prefer the Galaxy to look like Asia?
In reality; practically all movies, TV, video-games star white or black people as most of the characters (mainly white). That's because these shows and games are western, where most people are white or black. If Asians had made Mass Effect, there would be essentially no white people and everyone would be Asian.
It's the way it is.

Black does not equal African-American. Brynn is likely of European descendance, while Anderson is from London. We never learn where Jacob or his father are from.

I know but, I didn't want to say "black" cause I wasn't sure if someone might take offense to it.

I mean come on, even today, 1 in 5 human is Chinese, 1 in 6 is Indian, 3/5 of the world is Asian, but when it comes to intergalactic representation, nope, every human on the Normany is Caucasian, and just about every other human you'd get to meet is white.
I'm not trying to be political or trying to be politically correct ... it's just not realistic.

That's rather presumptuous considering the story takes place 170 years into the future.
not really, in fact i'd argue the fact advances my point even more. seeing how birthrate in developed countries is far lower than the developing countries.

They're all going to be gray power rangers.
