Sequels?! God knows the industry is firmly enough stuck with same old franchises and mechanics as it is. Tis a bit like asking for a monday to come. Can't really blame the industry it self at all though; threads like this always seem way busier than stuff like "List them games you'd like to play that just don't exist yet" - type of things. Tis sad how we love our same old franchises and sequels.  For the sake of all the füks, people (including me:( ) are actually asking for sequels to FPS games, Resident Evil franchise  and dialogue wheeled Bioware RPGs and stuff.  Srsly. We are quaranteed to get this junk  ad nausea as it is.;l  And then we wonder why it took entire rulebook changing innovations like crowd funding and digital revolution to get anything little more amnitious/unique/uncommon going again. Gamers are gamers' worst enemy.


SO yeah having said that I would also like DA:O 2. : p

I want grim, popular, realistic and cool World War 2 MMO that is able to simulate a highly dynamic battlefield on land, air,sea. Everything from high command to machine gunner of a tactical bomber to driver of a tank to  lowly cannon fodder rifleman is playable. Sufficient amount of realism and simulation when it comes to stuff like tanks, planes, submarines. FPS portion is serious business as well, not ADHD bs like CoD. I realize this is pretty much an impossible concept to create for multiple reasons.

I also want a seriously serious simulator where I command a massive hard ass scifi spaceship. Super carrier in space. 1st person perspective to everything. Move freely in in your gigantic ship. Game is all about commanding it, you don't arse about with laser rifles or fly around in single seater starfighters.  This is not an impossible concept, should happen and would be awesome:(

A new MediEvil.

I still remember that glass demon, really scared me and gave me nightmares. The beating heart sounds, the screams it made and the monkeys that steal your stuff.

And a new 2d Abe Oddysee and Exoddus sequel. True they are making and Oddysee remake and there is Strangers Wrath and Munch's Oddysee but I always loved the 2d puzzle style.

Konami are "aware of fan interest, but have no plans at this time for future games."  There was a Japan-only release for the PSP a year or two ago, (not Suikoden 6) hopefully it did okay.

Shining Force 4 (with Camelot developing)

I never got to play Shining Force 3, apparently I wouldn't have been able to play the whole game anyway, as the second and third scenarios weren't released in the west.

If there ever is a new Shining Force game, I hope they shift away from action RPGs.  I'd even take a return to the series roots as a dungeon crawler.

Suikoden 6 is not likely to get made. The sales international (Include the US) is abysmal. The sales in Japan is just okay at best. Making games for next gen are getting more expensive, and it's risky to invest in a game that did okay. I think that's part of the reason why he hadn't see a Suikoden main game on next gen console yet. I love Suikoden with 2 being my favorite.

No, no, I want Mirror's Edge 2, too.

I'm just not so keen to post in Sequel-threads. I bought my Mirror's Edge on Steam, just saying if somebody wants to help boost the mediocre sales of a wonderful and original game.

You don't know the (possibly) best adventure game ever made?

Anyway, I'd really like to see a Jade Empire 2. VtM:Bloodlines 2 and Alpha Protocol 2 could be awesome, too, same goes for a true Gothic 4 by Piranha Bytes. Of course I don't just want games with the titles I mentioned, but they should actually be done right and end up being good games because of that. ;-)
